It’s noisy and smelly and the lighting’s a bit weird, but it’s a blast to do. Traffic is limited to 20mph, so on a good day you can tuck behind a car and cane it all the way through. It’s like being reborn when you make it out. In a way.

I used to work on Gray's Inn Road, 200. A colleague that was unable to use the underground carpark one day, had his bike nicked within an hour of locking it up to a bike rack outside the office. Little shits.

Particularly enjoyed holding up the angry boyracer in the Nova (somewhere near Stockwell (?)), who eventually screeched past us, only to be stopped at the lights 20 meters down the road.

'snot really abut the line up though is it? The great thing about Glaso is the scale, the vibe and the 'magic' of the place. It's got the history to make it feel like you're somewhere special, like you're really getting away from the reality of a mundane 9 to 5 existance.
