A mate moving overseas left me with some wheels and tyres to pass on if anyone has a use for them;
Track wheelset - unknown rims/hubs, but run true and plenty of braking surface left. New bearings required F & R plus no rear axle. 16T sprocket included.
700/25 Helios Vera tyreset - they look pretty much unused, no cuts/wear that I can see.
Geared wheelset - Ksyrium Elite rims/hubs. 10 speed I guess. Bladed spokes. 18 front, runs true and smooth. 20 rear, but one spoke broken at the hub attachment, so well out of true. Braking surface seems to have plenty of life left F&R.
Free to a good home - pick up from Chiswick.

My part of the world for post ride beers - White Hart is ok, but the bike stands down by the river flood depending on tide and indoor tables often hard to come by. The Ship Mortlake just along the river is better imo. City Barge not bad, a bit dull indoors. Same deal with the tide. Old Ship W6 is a good venue - lots of outdoors river space. Also have a look at the Express Tavern, north side of Kew Bridge - big covered/open garden with a bike rack at the back and a fine selection of beers.

That was a most excellent ride/night (including the Billy Bragg tribute act) - lovely to renew acquaintances and meet some new faces. Plus top notch ride leading from Matt.
It does strike me though that for this ride to work, i.e. not ending up hanging around Weatherspoons at 5:30am, it needs about three punctures and one member of the team to be a bit of a slouch whenever the road rears upwards. It doesn't need to be the same rider that accounts for these important time management factors, but I guess it keeps things neat and tidy in terms of responsibilities. Your patience was appreciated chaps.
I love riding the Isle of Wight - somehow it's always a cultural experience; dodgy pubs, 4am picnics on the cliffs, queueing outside pubs at 7am and today, getting the train back to London with what seemed like the retirement arm of Portsmouth's fabled 6:57 crew on their way to the England game. To complete my transition back to the middle classes I stopped for sushi and craft beer in Chiswick on the way home.
Cheers all – next time…

Brilliant ride and all round atmosphere as ever - as a Surrey Hills local, RotFL is about the only ride each year that I can get out in the Kent lanes and not get hopelessly lost. Nice to bump into you before the ride @JAHtim - great ride report.

A open return from Waterloo to Ryde, returning anytime on the Saturday is £43 including the ferry with a network railcard. The 21:00 dep on Friday gets in at 23:07. I'm probably going to shoot for that as I'd like a more leisurely Saturday return after a post breakfast pint. Can get another 3 tickets on the day for the same price if anyone's interested.

Fantastic ride, please pass on our appreciation to the organisers @Greenbank - the feedstop on the way down was brilliant and the open house at Upper Beeding way beyond the call of duty. The route back was gorgeous - as good as it gets on a bike.

No, I just got on at San Fran - they bus you over to Oakland station I think.
I broke the trip once at Klamath Falls and headed over to Crater Lake - one of the best ever day rides round the lake. I'm with @cornelius_blackfoot on the Tardis, mine has probably done 20 flights without any damage to the kit and I didn't bother with pipe lagging. Packing down small and easy to carry fully loaded is a real help. -
Not sure on Campag/Shimano - can't see a marking. Pms and arrangements to pick up please - I'll get back in order of pms in. Thanks.
