@ Elguapo - I saw USA is a monster in Dalston kinda recently, hadn't heard them before but they were great. Played two sets, one where they spoke a bit about a piece of american history which had influenced the following song, and the next was an awesome party.
Heres someone who I've only just discovered...

Hi all, this has been sitting at my house for a couple of weeks after the wheels were used on a frame for a friend, its made from plain gauge tubing and was labelled as a Marlboro when i got it.
Its 60cm with a 57ish top tube, originally for 27" wheels.
I've included a photo of it with wheels for some idea of the geo or lack thereof.
SOLD
Pick up from N1.Oh I'm also looking for some cheep clamp on friction shifters for an 8 speed rear derailleur if anyone has anything.
Thanks.

Yesterday I build my first tallbike-frame EVER! :) w0h00!
Turned out pretty much the way I wanted it... except I got to be a bit too tall... I can't get on it without standing on something..
Other problems is that the seat is right above the rear wheel, so it really wants to do wheelies, and it has no brakes yet.. wheels a 29'er singlespeed's..
First testride was a bit exciting because of the missing brakes :) edit: and because the bottom bike is a size 60.. ;)
Photos will follow this weekend when I get brakes mounted, and I think I'll put a drop-bar on it as well, should put my weight a bit more forward so that it'l not wheelie that easy....
Finally I have to figure out why I wanted a tallbike.... ;)
This sounds like a blast! Always wanted to have a ride on a tallbike, seen a few getting around london on them, navigating traffic and whatnot.
Always wondered what happens if you need to stop at the lights.Pictures!

Pain in the ass in my experience. The single bolt for the chainring comes loose far too easily.
Still, I know enough other people who get on with them.Yep, this seems to be the problem for most people riding them fixed, heres a link to someone whos been riding them for a bit and a ghetto solution to the problem.

I dunno how much a shop will charge to assemble a bike for you, but I'm pretty sure it'd be cheaper to get a chain tool for a tenner and do it yourself, you'll definitely use it again. And as for the lockring... theres a ghetto way to do almost everything. But then my bikes might be thought of as deathtraps by a few on here.

dude on a fixed with bmx style bars, being shouted at by me jon fitz and crazy james to do a skid you so willingly complied, made our night as we were desperately trying to refind critical mass
Was this at the top of the Aldwychy Bloomsbury bit? I spotted the spok a mile off, made my trip to Brixton extra fun :)
