We haven’t had a bike jacket in our range since the Long Way Home and I never got one. I hesitated and then they were gone, I’ve had to listen to people here in HQ say how good they were, I’ve had the same experience talking to customers at the World Cup in Fort William and at Mountain Mayhem.
But last night I took the Long Way Home in one of the prototypes of its successor, it doesn’t have a name yet, but it’s going to be good. It’s at that stage where all the little detail refinements have clicked into place and when it just feels right.
It’ll be a little while before it’s here, but it’ll be worth the wait.
this was the post, from last friday

you can make belts out of tyres as well, just need to find somewhere that sells buckles.

I came across a nice pair of old style weinmann levers, however they have suicide levers attached and I am having difficulty getting them off. Before anyone asks I did use the search and had a look on Sheldon Brown but couldn't see anything relevant.
On the inside of the lever, the pivot bolt is finished with a 1mm bushing or rivet (see photo) but it doesn't seem to be threaded, i had a go at it with some pliers but it didn't budge. The only thing i can think off is to try and hammer the bolt out but before i do has anyone got any better suggestions.
Thanks in advance
thought you might have, i'm sure someone on here will know
