I'm going to try and work out out a "Phil's Hills" route- ie a pubcrawl for the last one (before Palace starts?)

Wrong knowledge re South Norwood Country Park I'm afraid.

It's managed by Quadron Services for Croydon Council.

South Norwood Country Park is (a nature reserve) in LB Croydon. I have found it increasingly hard to organise Summer Series and London League CXs in Croydon; you don't have to be a genius to realise that skidding round a nature reserve isn't going to endear cyclists to teh council.

Whilst I haven't been able to put a race on in Croydon for 3 years, Max has shown that previously resistive boroughs can change their tune. So next time anyone feels like racing their mates, do it in a wasteland and then think about helping those who work hard to do things properly.
