I just did my first tiling project, made a planter from tile backer board and tiled it.
You'll need a bucket and a drill and a mixing paddle also..
Tiling sponge for cleaning the grout was also handy.
These kind of tiles were all held together using a kind of webbing, so could cut to size easily. But for some I just used a 4 inch grinder with a masonry blade, cut it like butter.
