I went to a hypnotist to stop smoking - that was 3 years ago, and after 1 session I haven't smoked, or thought about smoking since. No pain, no coughing up massive thick green gob, no recovery period, just suddenly a non-smoker. Cost me 120 quid. Could be a pain free instant option for you. You have to want to quit though otherwise it won't work. Good luck with it.

thanks Jon - I am definately going to give this some thought - first though I want to be measured up professionally - do you find the Cinelli fast and manoeuvrable - is it quick of the lights and do you feel confident hitting the gaps? - if I decide to go for it -I'll pm you perhaps we can talk some more?
it's light and nimble yet stiff too though this comes with a good set up and sizing. Are you specifically looking for a cinelli? Those red and chrome colnagos are awesome too, or you could just go vintage, a nice Merckx, or pin? Happy to chat if you want to go for it.

Jonhings you have built that 'supercorsa pista' up proper nice
I still reckon you need C-record cranks ;)
but what a beautiful bike
and lemon is really nice
I found chicken cycles but there dealer list left alot to be desired
Which why I asked
I am glad I did
I didn't realise you could deal with them direct
I take it Patrizia at at Cinelli speaks English then Jon?
If I go for one I might just jump on a plane
How does yours ride?
How does it compare to the Pinarello
And was it worth the cashCheers mate. You can contact patrizia directly but you'll end up dealing with chicken in the end. I can contact them on your behalf if you want? Pm me if so.
It rides well, it's really smooth and feels tight. The pin isn't built up yet as I'm still looking for some spare forks to run a brake. Was the cinelli worth it? Good question. When I first ordered it it was 900, then with the change in exchange rate and 'mix up' at chicken it was 1200 ish in the end. As it took so long I had plenty if time to save, but it's truely beautiful in the flesh, and makes me feel a lucky bloke when I finish work and see it waiting for me to ride home and when I ride it it always makes me smle which for me is what it's all about. If you can afford it go for it.

Got mine from a uk wholesaler called Chicken Cycles, a cockney bloke called Gary can help you there. Don't tell them I sent you though as mine was a special order in lemon and they hated doing it. It took around 9 mounths in all, with Chicken saying it was too much hassle and saying he didn't want to do it - to be honest I gave up hope half way through, then kept hassleing. Nice in the end though. Order a standard colour and it should take about 3 months I reckon. - EDIT. I started the whole process by writing loads of emails to Patrizia at Cinelli directly, and she spoke to Chicken on my behalf to 'bring it in' from Italy. She was a great help. Chicken weren't to be honest.

Can you not claim on your household insurance if you lose it/it gets nicked?
Yep - thats what I'm trying to do now. They are trying to work out 'an equivilent' replacement for the iphone- god knows that'll be.
Anyway, just saying it'd would have saved a lot of hassle if I'd taken out the "optional" insurance.

Whatever you do, you 100% need to take out some sort of insurance on the iPhone as you simply CANNOT get a replacement handset if it goes walkies... I didn't buy insurance when I bought mine, thinking it was a sales-person-extra-commission-scam, then my iPhone got nicked and I can't get a replacement. Carephone refuse to replace it, so do O2. So I'm left on an 18 iPhone month contract on a crappy nokia.
The only option I have is to buy a cracked pay as you go iphone from europe for ..... £550!!!

if you're looking for short reach calipers you want these puppies:
They work perfect on drilled track forks. They've got them on ebay from time to time. Beware, the brake shoes are a nightmare to get hold of.
