Erm, it seems my question has been answered. My 65's have 144mm drop and the 66's have 158mm.

I would like some nitto's but they are a little pricy for me and i currently run a road stem so i would have to get a new stem also.

I currently have 65/44's Would the 66's be deeper?

Erm i dunno about price really he would like free ones but he has had no luck with that yet but as cheap as possible i guess, from the picture they look well used and fairly old ones? Only one problem is im in the midlands so they would need to be posted if that is ok with you?

It looks as if he did it more as a style thing, from experience it doesnt really slow you that much, but if you find some nice loose gravel path its good fun. Everyone loves skiding, find a puddle and it can be used to spray your mates!
And hardly copying fixed wheel skiding, that like saying that bmxers copying fixed wheels because we are all pedaling?

Ratboy if you tighten up the cog with a chainwhip and (im guessing the lockring is actually a BB ring) the lockring as long as hes easy on the back pedalling it should be ok for a while

Yeah thats what he does, but it still comes undone really easy, but he is running a 52-16 which might be part of the reason??

A friend of mine is looking for a 36h fixed rear hub, at the moment hes running a standard freewheel hub with cog and some sort of locking ring!!! He says it undo's most days while riding!

But the problem is hes quite skint so can only spend abt £25ish or a little more if its a nice hub.
Must be 120 spaced and have locking ring. Also needs to be posted as we live in the midlands?

Ive just found out some more very interesting information.
The frame seems to be Rotrax "Vel D’Hiv" Track frame from 1955

According to the kind gentleman who helped me with this, it was quite common for shops to repaint and add their own decals to others frames. It seems to be the case here.

I have been recomended to restore it as a Rotrax rather than a Alan Richards.
