I'll reckon I'll be up for it again next Sunday, and fixed too, seeing as a couple of guys managed it last time. I haven't even ridden my fixed bike since Christmas, why am I even on this forum! This is dependent on knee recovery though, so I reckon I'll be sitting out of Rollapaluza on Wednesday.
Do a Box Hill ride next time. I haven't been there since I was about 14. I want to see if the hill is as mammoth as I remember.

Bad luck Chickh. Ring up Dolan and get yourself a set of Navigators. You can sue the council if the road was to blame for the blunder described in your above stream of conscious. I know someone who did it after going over on some dodgy tram lines.
Nasty gave me a business card of some cycle specific solicitor when he was in Harry's. Ask him or someone in the shop.

I know I don't live there anymore, like. But Hulme/Moss side is M14, Longsight is M13 - as all Stone Roses fans should know http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Longsight-M13-lyrics-Ian-Brown/7A90822BE46D4E6F482570220028CB06
Give me a bit of warning though, cos I'd like to do it. I realised I'm gonna miss the Alley Chicken weekend after next cos I'm in Ghent.

...and if you travel 25 kms to the east (of Gent) to Aalst there is the biggest bike shop you'll ever see.
Yeah - this place: http://www.vaneycksports.com/
I heard that theres not many bike shops in Flanders because everyone goes to this place. I'm planning on diverting the VCL clubrun out there on the Saturday morning of the Ghent 6.

Just sit as upright as possible and relax your arms. Bizarrely I learnt to ride them no handed, clinging onto a table before I could with my hands on the bars, so get your weight back.
After that you've gotta master getting onto them without holding on to anything and my mythical favorite... riding up alongside them, trackstanding, and bunnyhoppping on. I don't know who gave me the idea, has anyone seen that done?
