I very quickly put a Google map thing together of our route.
Not perfect, sure we could shave some of this with better routing...48.3 miles / 77.7 km including Crystal Palace (and the HILL)
38.8 miles / 62.4 km excluding Crystal Palace (and the HILL)
--
I think it would be sensible to scrap CP. Including getting from where I live (Bow) and back at the end from Arsenal, its 65 miles / 104 km which is plenty enough withot that bastard hill!
Thoughts?

Howdy all,
I've just upgraded to UST wheels on my Specialized Epic so I now have the original pair to go.
They're in really good condition (could do with a wash maybe) and are fairly decent wheels. No dings, running straight.Comes with a cassette with a touch of surface rust - But has been running ok
Not really sure what they are worth, but make me an offer?
RIMS DT Swiss custom for Specialized X420, 24mm w/ eyelets, 32h (From what I understand they are 4.20's slightly modified for Specialized to be a touch lighter)
FRONT HUB Specialized Hi Lo disc, 28h CNC flange and disc mount, sealed cartridge bearing, 9mm DT RWS alloy QR
REAR HUB Shimano custom M525SL hub for Specialized, 32h, alloy QR
TIRE Specialized Fast Trak Control LK, 26x2.0", 60TPI, tubeless ready aramid bead, dual compound
CASSETTE FREEWHEEL Shimano HG-50, 9-speed, 11-34t

Howdy all,
Am heading to Wales for a couple of days in a few weeks and need a couple of spare tubes. Anyone got some they wanna flog, or know of a good place for bargains :)
I also need a new chain for my SS as my old one is getting a bit rusty :/
Could also do with some new wheel nuts, as my current ones are getting rusty too! :)

Hi guys,
Title says all, I've gone and locked my bike up and lost my key. Stupid bastard.
Can anyone help me get this bugger off. Its a 'Squirell' lock? One of those that is steal cable (I presume) surrounded by plastic. Fairly heavy duty, but no Abus.
Its currently locked up in some back lane near Old St (Clerkenwell side).
I'll be suprised if its not smashed up by the morning. Cry.I've double locked it with a decent Abus for now, so nothing (apart from seat etc - if its still there in the morning I'll grab it - didn't have any tools with me) should go missing.
I've tried a hacksaw on it, and only got about 5% away through the steal and the saw was blunt.
So yeah. Would really appreciate some advice "go to lock smith?" or "I have a fireman size super cutter" or... "drill the lock" etc...
If anyone can help / do / sort me out I'll happily give 50 nuggets.
This be it, clean, and in summer... And not locked up!
A few people on here can vouch that this is my bike, and I'm not trying to steal someone elses!Give me a ring on 07886831021 if you can help.
Thanks,
Rob. -

A rough idea of what I'm nattering about...
Not sure you can cycle all the way up that greenbelt, I've been up most of it and it was ok.
Some bits a bit rough, still paths, but no worse than your average east end back street.
