Hi all,
Just had my front wheel nabbed off a project bike I just invested in.
Its an old Raleigh tourer, was planning to sort it out which included getting some nicer wheels, guess its just brought that part of the project forward a bit :)So yeah, anyone got something.. Classic looking, dished for gears.. At the moment its working with 6 speed non-indexed, so something along those lines would be great.
Cheers,

Hi all,
Have decided to start a new project as I've rode my current road conversion into the ground and want something new to play with this summer. Lets see whats about. :)
I have dodge knees, so something drilled for brakes would be perfect.
Not worried too much about the paint job, will probably respray unless its nice as is.Got around £250 maybe £300
Cheers,

Ok cool cheers guys - Am replying to the PMs at the moment, but found one just down the road so will get that one as its easiest for me...
As for the chainring bolts - I got them off fleebay I think, but when I first did the bike (2 years ago) they looked like ok - Nice and flush with the ring.. I've had this click for about a month, wondered what it was - useless :)
Cheers for all the replies guys n gals.

I did something similar, locked my bike up, played football with the key in my pocket.. lost it :)
Someone on this forum (can't remember who though) helped me out a great deal and grinded it off for me in the morning. Happy days. If you search the forum for something similar you will find the names of a couple of nice people on here who will do it for a beer or two providing you can prove its yours.Another time I nipped into a shop to buy some quick stuff, so just one lock on the frame (school boy). Came out a few mins later and some guy was busy undoing my wheels. A quick swing with my other dlock at his ribs soon sent him running, I reckon you could do some awesome damage with a dlock!

Hi All,
I had my first decent crash last night (some guy did a U-turn about 3m in front of me!) and now have a dinged wheel (dead). Luckily no other damage apart from a bruised knee.
So, am after something similar to what I've just had..
Interested in keeping the style similar, but might be open to something different :)
Wanna get back on the road asap, so let me know what you guys have.
If your in the Shoreditch / Bow area that would be extra super!Cheers,

This forum annoys me more and more with these stupid posts "I saw it on ebay" / "its only woth X amount" if he wants to try sell it at that amount, fair play to him, some poeple might be intersted, or not. If your not, just quit whinning and take a bit of that loverly "community" spirit somewhere else.
The way I see it is most people arrive at this forum looking to build there first ride, ask questions on how / what / etc. buy a few bits here, maybe sell some bits back. This kind of crap can't help eh.
