Looking for £35 inc P&P. Will take £30 if you come and get it from me. Living in Bow, working on Regent St..
Its new. Been onto my bars for a month, then off, so some minor marks on the inside, but otherwise in Mint condition.
I fucked my knee playing football so am having to go singlespeed and can't afford another Paul to go on the left!

Right ok. Wanting to be running free, but recognise the freewhile comes on the sprocket... :)
No lockring, thats the answer I needed though. Cheers guys. The frame is a skanky old Dave Marsh I got of ebay, blasted and painted at Armourtex a few months ago.
Roger the loose headset, maybe I didn't tighten it up proper due to not having any greese in.
Greese, greese and more greese... Will pop out and get some soon.
Cheers for the answers guys, always speedy with those replies.Tar,

My bike is slowly coming together. So some pics, and some questions :)
I've been waiting, and final I have some wheels.
Been dealing with Kiwibikes for about... 4 months trying to get some all black wheels, but it never happened. So got some from those guys that sell from the US. DP18's in silver with Silver Formula fixed/free hubset.. £100 or so and arrived quick sharp. (No income tax.. yah...)Questions.
On the last picture, it shows where the rear cog needs to go.
if I buy something from here http://www.hubjub.co.uk/eai/eai.htm
Will it just screw on or do I need a lockring?
Its a Formula fixed/free hubset and I want to run it 'free' for now (due to knee surgery recently)At the front when I sit on the bike and rock back and forward there is a slight bit of movement in the fork. I didn't greese up the fork bearings when I assmebled (something I plan to do soon) - Will this remove that rock? Also, anyone know any good cheap greese to use for this sort of thing? Ebay?
Ok cheers,

Ok..
So, I've been making up a bike for a while now, and I was planning to go fixed.
The bike is an old road frame and I went to the trouble of filling off all the bits I didn't like the look off, that I didn't need, so gear hanger, brake cable guides bottle mounts etc etc... and getting it sprayed. Looks great :)Sadly, recently I damaged my anterior cruciate ligament in my knee, so going fixed gear is temporarily out of the question. So I need to go single speed, and get a rear brake setup.
It would be great to get pointed in the direction of a solution
I think I remember seeing not so long ago a bike that had some sort of system where some cable guides looked to be velcro'ed to the tob tube. Am I dreaming? If not, if you know what I'm talking about, let me know :)
Cheers,

Ok, well nope, I didn't get a stem with it :)
I tried a ruler, and yeah its around 27mm, hard to tell exactly though.
I tried Sheldon, but nothing on Dave Marsh.
I doubt I'm ever going to need this thing again, so borrowing would be best. If anyone works / lives around Old St / Hackney / Bow this is my haunt, I'll buy you a bottle of ale or something in return :)
If not, then maplins it is!
Thanks for the posts guys.

Sam < ** EDIT just realised it's a Cinelli frame, so the BB will definitely not fit. < Bah!
I tried screwing them in by hand, one side went in around 10 turns, then got stuck, the other side got about half a turn and got stuck... Cry!
I presume if they did fit they would screw in most of the way without too much problem? So, whats this bad boy worth? Any one want it :)
Chaing tug - Any recommendations for my setup?
"That stem & bar combo looks immenseley long." - Yeah, got the stem for free, if its too long, ill but new :)
Cheers for the write up tynan...
