Before this goes on eBay, i thought it was worth offering here.
Brian Rourke 57cm tt, frame, fork, headset£375.00 OVNO
built in 2010.
slight slope on tt,
Superlight, thin walled oversize deda steel tubing.
3T Funda Fork
Chris King Aheadset
(brakes not included - forgot to remove before photo's)
fully slotted cable routing (non standard)
A few minor chips, and surface scratches (see pics)
Wax-oiled from new.Lovely, lovely bike - hip flexor issues, and a refit mean its not actually quite right anymore - aggravating injuries. A shame as i'd lusted after this for years, and loved the ride and looks.
It's been hanging around for 18months, with a loan spell, but pretty minimal usage in the 3 years it's been around.
SE London / kent borders based - happy to travel central for viewing.
Thanks for looking

it was mr smith who did the snaps.
He said they were pretty good, theres plenty of no name stuff on most bikes at this price, and we all know they come out of the same factories, whether there is a name on it or not.
why not just phone them up?
if there's a human there, i'm sure they'll answerthey not oxfordish? maybe they'll have a demo they can show?

tube wise?
as in what steel or what size?
RPM's right its a 56 almost 56 square too.decent old school butted steel. not sure what brand sorry. Jos from tour de ville might know what it is - thats where i got the frame.
thanks.and cheers rob for sorting the pic.
If you PM me with an email address, i can snap a few more on the phone and send them.

As it says really.
nice steel road conversion.
white and pink frame, campag seatpost, and headset, dacordi forks, regal saddle.
choice of titec stem with risers or cinelli and moustache bars.
miche c/set and bb.will throw in the sprocket if i can get it off easily.
that would make a 50-20 gear 968 ish i guess) - nice and spinny for hilly south london. Would even be compatible with the weirdness that is north of the river.
All it needs is a pair of wheels and you'd have a lovely ride.
Just thought i'd stick it up here before it goes on the bay as i git it through here (via Keith and jos).
i want about 200 sniffs for it.
Based south but could deliver most places.
condition, mechanically good, looks nice but some minor sticker scuffs from locking and use. Its in the condition a bike of its age thats was well looked after should be.
cheers for looking, and appolgies, i cant get the f..in link to work.
right click and open it in a new tab and it works fine i think.

smile, get somewhat fitter loose weight if you eat / drink the same, stay stable while eating / drinking more?

just in case its not been posted before (not noticed myself) and anyone might be interested., great for long hilly rides, no?

so how do you stop people cheating / shortcuts.
I know 'some' people might not do the entire course, especially the one shown.
even simply going the wrong way round parliament square saves 25 seconds.
sounds like people want to race alleycats (the excitement - rather than richmond) so why not just porganise some real racing?
well iof it wasn't against the rules that is?

its getting fine by the evening and a sunny arrival.
at least its predominantly a tail wind.
anyway, as last year proved its only water, never harmed anyone!

i was talking about myself, and how i panic before and then with days to go relaise its a doddle anyway.
even if its pissing with rain at the start, the ipod speakers start buzzing after 4 hours of monsoon like precipitation, the i-pod itself decides to regularly street surf, the only spare tube was ashort valve (not ideal for the deep section rims - thanks whoever you were for saving my ass), the rizlas stick togather, the spare rizla in the ziplock back also stick together, and then it begins to rain a little harder.
lovely stuff!
Sold.
Thanks bainbridge
