There is some HGV blind spot training this Tue. all over london in various points - this would be my first spot.
I generally stay well clear of trucks (right or left) if there is any potential for them to turn either way - they have particularly bad blind spots due to their elevated position.
I prefer a more dominant riding position so as my confidence has grown I tend to cycle on the right (as you say) rather than skim the gutters.
Always check (i.e. like you would check you mirrors) before you perform any change of position in the road - this is particularly important to avoid hitting other cycles or motorbikes.

The security have a tendency to be a bit flaky at UCL - I work there too. I walked under a barrier onto Gordon Square and the guy in the security hut went crazy - started shouting and swearing as if I had just thrown a brick at a small child. Totally over the top! Again, I wasn't supposed to walk under the barrier.

the guy who runs snafu is a bit of a retard so no doubt he has forgotten something essential like that. they were never a great bmx company despite having Dave Mirra on their team. To be honest i think it's just their attempt to jump on the bandwagon with Volume. Go with twisted pc and powergrips.
How to you get powergrips onto BMX pedals? There are no holes to bolt them on?

Cracks me up the way OOL thinks he has this amazing brainwave setting up a customisation of bikes business. He takes the piss out of people(his potential customers) jumping on a 'scene' yet myself and many others on this board have been riding fixed for years. Do you think no-one else has had this revelation or something? Mate, you're 2 years too late, move on, do something else as you sure as hell have no clue how to build decent, marketable affordable bikes. Why are you building bikes ready to go when anyone with a bit of nouse can just do it themselves? It takes what, 2/3 hours max to build a bike from start to finish. People are not gonna pay for shite like you're building...
+1 - this chap has a really odd attitude - not like anything I have experienced on here in the past.

I take it you didnt buy yours in the last year...The sooner that half those who have, get rid of them the better. The scene is nothing more than a way for dumb highstreeters to gain some identity and probably now all write on here like they've been riding SS since their paper round
you know who you areDoes a BMX count as single speed - that is what I used for my paper round. One gear for me after a brief teenage flutter with my Raleigh Lizard.
That sort of talk will only agitate people - play nice! Bikes = good, whoever rides them.
