^ this is why i don't like segregation / red lining. it benefits some whilst others lose out. it is discriminatory.

better to do 20 mph for the whole built up area. every village, every town and every city centre. that way everybody benefits from safety uplift, noise and pollution reduction etc.

when the customer returns the bike it does not lock properly.

i phoned the customer services department. I think i got stung for a few quid on usage charge.

Really bad news and a terrible reflection on all those responsible for the ongoing and everyday carnage.

building a segregated system for cyclists is difficult - it will take £billions and take years to achieve.

in london there just is not the space.

20 mph involves some paperwork = road traffic regulation, some public awareness and some signage. IMO much easier.

segregation is a drivers agenda.

drivers want cyclists off the roads so they don't have to slow down etc / they just want the roads to themselves.

i don't want to be segregated. i want to be integrated. i want 20 mph in all built up all areas.
