Sure. As below.
How important is sensor size to you?
Essential to have a full frame sensor otherwise your 24mm shift lens won't be as wide. Get the best full frame camera you an afford. Having said that my D700 still is fine and delivers really good RAW files. You could start off second hand to save some cash. Currently using a D810 which is great but now need to upgrade my computer to handle the files.Do you use a tilt-shift lens?
Yes, a 24mm shift and a 50mm prime are all I need really. Would like to get the 45mm shift also but not needed it in the ten years I've been working. I also have a 70-200 f2.8 but rarely use. What do you use for post-work?
My workflow is based around Lightroom, Bridge and Photoshop. I stitch / blend images too. I take a top and bottom frame with the shift lens then blend together to get a 5x4 aspect ratio as well as more in the image. I often blend to avoid people in the way. What tripod do you use?
I use a Gitzo carbon tripod - was around $700 but you don't need something that fancy. A sturdy aluminium tripod for around £150 would be more than fine. So long as it has a screw thread to change heads. I only got the carbon as I carry it around a lot and wanted to save my back. The tripod is the most important thing is the tripod head! I use a Mafrotto Junior Geared head. It's perfect and allows micro adjustments to get the camera absolutely level. Don't think about shooting architecture without one.
Would you say anything other than camera, lens & tripod are essentials?
Remote shutter release, spirit level in the hot shoe (newer cameras have this built in), some way of shading the lens (a bit of black card), decent bag to carry it all in... that's it really. Oh, and decent memory cards - don't skimp on this. Get a recognisable brand from a reputable source. The other one is Canon vs Nikon. Both the same really but Canon have slightly better quality shift lenses. I use Nikon but only because of what I started out with.

Hi. Sorry I’ve been busy travelling around and not had time to reply. How can I help on the architectural photography front? I do it part time and paid (so professional I guess). My day job is being an architect.

Thanks. Sadly MTBs really don’t hold their value very well.
