the lezyne gets you up to 30-40psi pretty easily so more than enough to get you home hopefully. It is a lovely size and fits in a handbag (should you be carrying one), man bag, (ditto) or even a pocket.
It comes with a nice attachment which still allows your bottle holder to stay on your frame (assuming you have the shame to sully your steed with such attachments)
Point to note (as i discovered on the tweed run) make sure you use the velcro attachment to secure the pump to the attachment! The clips aren't quite enough purchase. My mini pump was made even more mini by being crushed.

Eric B & Rakim - what's on your mind:
I seen her in the subway on my way to Brooklyn
Hello good looking is this seat tooken
On the A train picking at her brain
I couldn't get her number I couldn't get her name
I said I still like your style of fashion
But I hate your hostile 'itty attitude wit a passion
Is it because brothers like to hawk alot
Is it because your sign don't talk alot
She turned away no play I said ok
You don't really look good, I hope you have a bad day
Sat back, relaxed though the ride was tight
I was thinking of the rhymes I wrote last night
Next stop was mine, a familar scene
I was meeting my friend, killer Ben in Ft Green
Where the girls are real, they tell ya how they feel
If you're soft, you're soft, or if you're hard like steel
See i don't bend and I won't rust
And I don't break and I won't bust
Stomped up the street and did I hear a treat?
Hard high heels tappin' on the concrete
I took a peek, it was the girl from the train behind me
Did she live in the area, was she trying to find me?
Hm, I didn't wanna play myself out
I played it off, stopped and I bought a Guiness Stout
Now was she shy, she didn't walk by
She came in the store then she even said hi
Curiosity- at a high velocity
Maybe possibly she had the hots for me
i said if we're playing games then we're gonna play mine
I'm a lay the rules 'cause it ain't much time
If you hide your feelings, and they hard to find,
I wanna know what's on your mind -

Apparently, supermarkets give away bags for free.
Madness.
Not in Ireland.
But we aren't in Ireland.
Oh,
move on.Returning to bags
Image below hopefully of Edinburgh bike co-op bag.
http://snipurl.com/ajb2hAdvantages: expanding capacity & "mesh" for the sweat related issues highlighted above.
Disadvantages: Rucksack style and and more as discussed
https://www.londonfgss.com/post473109-100.htmlI think this is fine for a 10-15 mile journey beyond that I would err to elders and betters on the non-rucksack option.

http://www.roadcyclinguk.com/news/article/mps/uan/3120 (Lezyne pump review)
I have just purchased one on the recommendation of eightballs69
Thanks eightballs69I agree with others on this page, better to have the track pump at home, and this to get you to a track pump.

Richmond park (left off this route and join Ken Gardens once you have left shepherd's bush.
[/ame]

For the newbie **Mr Goosey:
[/ame]
**[ame]http://www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/City-to-Paddington[/ame
this should help you avoid the main roads and once at Paddington head down Praed st>Leinster Gardens>Westbourne Grove (there is a back route via Hereford road). This will get you most of the way there, and I'm sure you can have fun with the roads nearbyIn both cases get the TFL cycle route maps available at most cycle shops and by post from tfl.gov.uk . They will show you some nice alternative routes)

It ain't a langster!
Brixton Cycles didn't have the OM Flyer in stock when I went in. I ended up buying this, and it ain't too bad:
Specialized Centrum (single speed & disc brakes)
http://www.cyclestore.co.uk/productDetails.asp?productID=12260
GBP240 (2008 model on sale)I will let the chaps/chapettes determine whether this should be on this list
The chap riding it bought the bike of the 'bay for about 400. It was his idea to purchase it, and he says it works a treat for deliveries in Mayfair etc. He tries to minimise Canary Wharf deliveries. I was chatting to him and he says their customers love it when they see it.
Now all I need to do is work out if Huntsman will do an lfgss discount. hopefully in the region of 90%.
