apparently there are at least two other fixed riders in exeter, i haven't seen them yet and the chances of them being on here are slim but if you are, hey!
edit: according to my lbs there are lots of students coming down from 'london' bringing their 'fixed gear' bikes with them... where is this fixed gear mecca 'london' as i have never heard of it...

Where'd you get the rims? I've just been eyeing up their hubs which are a bit nice...
edit// looking closer - did you just go for the pre-built wheelset?[/quote]I got the complete wheels off pistanator, they came off his bianchi alu pista, but they weren't $$bling bling$$ enough for him. i'm running a hope/dt on the front atm though because i can't bring myself to ruin the non machined sidewalls on the front wheel.
+those wheels with 19mm tubs fast as fcuk.

hi, being new to a fixed gear and riding brakeless, when I stop quickly it feels like something is slipping, also when I accelerate quickly it's only a tiny slip but it's a little un-nerving seeing as this is my only way of slowing down. Has anyone else had this problem or have any ideas what it might be or how to fix it? thanks
cut them off with what? i ask because i have cable guides that need removing.
