Ben, I'm 6'2'' and Ialso wear 34'' jeans. I don't ( and neither should you) size you bike from your levis.
I've just sold my 58cm Fuji (which if I was being completely honest, felt a tad to small) to pay for the resurrection of my 24'' (approx) Jackson (which feels it fits like a glove).

It was slightly disturbing, when down in Deptford, to see a nice Witcomb with Dafoney's name on it as well.
Still, I like (and trust) Barrie. And I'll continue to go there until I don't.

I've just got my 80s Jackson back from Witcomb (it's now probably as much Witcomb as Jackson). He took a while to sort out the badging, don't know where he got them. But may be worth a call.

Vic, the bike is gorgeous. If you love drops then don't change the bars. Trackstands in the kitchen lead to not having to put your foot down at red lights.
If Tomasito doesn't want the stem, then I'd be interested. Having said that, I'd probably keep it as it is

Campag (Victory?) front brake. Used, may have bent centre bolt

Campag Pista 170mm RH crank c/w 48T 1/8 Zeus ring. This is pre '72 151mm BCD and showing its age (lots)

Campag Record 27.2 twin bolt seat post. SPARES ONLY (it was cut out of a frame 20 years ago)

Zeus 177.5mm cranks (pair). Need a good polish, threads good. Old style '70s 120mm BCD (I think) Zeus wheels only

TA 3-arm cranks, 165mm, 48T ring (116mm BCD) c/w dustcaps. I wish I could keep these but....

Weinmann 400 brake callipers (pair). '80s (I think), look unused to me. Short drop, 42-52, nut (not allen key) fixing.

I don't want this to turn into an auction, so it's probably first come, first sold (I do have a 'reserve' in my head for some, some of it, I don't care about.

On the subject of chainrings; does anyone have/know where to get 3/32 151mm BCD chainrings?

Shinscar, just in case you could possibly be asking me; they're the (unmarked, small) ones that came with the Fuji when I bought it new

Now I just need to work out why they're so small

I'm not saying I don't like them. At the moment I don't have the choice of Fuji and shiny.

15 years ago I drafted a hatchback. I still have the scar to prove that car brakes are better than those fitted to my bike.
The frame was wrecked, but will be reborn/restored soon thanks to Barry Witcomb and Ebay.
