I have a small frame & forks that I could sell you if interested. I'm going to be really vague here and say I can't remember the maker, sorry! But it's a 49/50cm if I remember correctly - I'm 5"5 and ride a 50-52cm frame normally, so I would have thought size would be good for your girlfriend.
I love the frame, just never got around to building it up because my need for it wasn't essential. I think it's 501 tubing, paintwork is a bit tatty but lots of charm - doesn't matter if you're powder coating it I guess. £50. PM me if interested. E. -

Yes, it all really depends on whether you want to ride your bike or talk about riding your bike.
I may have a pair of Mavic Ellipses for sale by the 3rd - and you're more than welcome to borrow them too, not exactly race wheels but I like them (and race on them). They'll be there anyway.
Back in Black - I can't wait!! V excited, it's been a while.

Having broken my collarbone twice and recieved treatment from 2 different hospitals I'm amazed by the different attitudes in treatment. I think what treatment you receive is heavily dictated by both the hospital policy and the personal opinions of the orthopedic consultant that you see.
What's right for one person though isn't always right for another though, and probably many people are failed by a blanket approach that is necessary within the vastness of the NHS for what is typically a minor injury. That's not the case if you're a cyclist though and have more demands on your collarbone, but it can be difficult to get people to hear that. Unfortunately I only realised what the right course of treatment for me was when it came to the second break!

I've always admired Nhatt's liberal approach to femininsm / femininity and a team including her and like-minded colleagues could be a great environment for women cyclists (I'm guessin'....as I'm not a woman)
Agreed - Nhatt I think one of your advantages is that you appeal to & are open to all female cyclists and all types of cycling. You've done everything in cycling as far as I can tell and I admire that. I would worry about the size of your audience, and the wisdom in excluding the majority of cyclists (ie the male ones) from your potential customers. But at the same time maybe someone needs to promote women's cycling in this way.
Perhaps if you started off as a kind of consultancy you could promote 'women's week' or whatever at different bike shops then you can utilise their existing stock & supply chain to get in women's specific bikes/clothing & combine that with your presence & advice. You can tour the 'women's week' to shop after shop, chain after chain, raising your profile (and collecting personal data so that you can email all your happy advice-takers about your new venture) until you have the customer base/security/viability to have a permanent physical base/shop/whatever.
Maybe something that Winston touches on could be good - get together a 'team' of riders who represent different aspect of women's cycling, get them to wear your kit out and about (maybe it's not all neccessarily lycra) & blog occasionally about what they're doing and then you have a squad of riders who all represent both your brand and what you stand for, who are prepped and prepared to talk about & promote what you're doing and spread the word.

Are you moving to Grupetto?
No, I just don't have either
a) big enough boobs or
b) manly enough shouldersto fill the tops. The shorts however are a snug fit. Not sure what that says about my bum?!
I think you'll find it's the second best....
Whatevs!
Someone please just buy these, they are dead nice and I am stoney broke.
Thanking you.

stelle yeaterday in the road that has the scooter shop in the corner n1
I heard a shout, thought that was probably you in our usual spot spot - I was too busy trying to avoid that thing in the road that was definitely trying to kill me to be sure though.
I saw bmmf, balaclava, full face helmet, smog mask, shell suit, Nike hi-tops - the works. Couldn't have been anyone else.

I saw you, Clive, last week sometime as you were heading onto Pitfield St...you were very intent on the peculiar left-footed trackstand that you were performing so I didn't want to distract you by shouting!
Also you were wearing one of those LFGSS jerseys and since I think they may be THE most hideous bit of clothing I've ever seen I didn't want to get too close :)
Oh and I saw Jonny yesterday on my first excursion back on the bike. Happy days.
NOTE These are all sold now pending payment. Thanks for all interest.
