I'm going away next year to Canada, and hoping to put in some light touring trips; but primarily need an all rounder.
Something 70s / 80s/ 90s (lugged) with mudguard eyelets, rack eyes would be nice but not essential.
Around 58cm center to top. could go slightly larger i guessI've been primarily looking for a Gazelle A-Frame, Randonneur (very rare i guess), Gazelle cross frame (don't know if they made these with mudguard eyelets) or a Raleigh Randonneur. There also seems to be some Koga Miyata frames similar in spec to the Gazelles above.
It looks like there are a ton of these frames / bikes on Marketplaats, but alas my dutch is terrible. But will consider anything similar to the above.
EDIT: after a frame/fork, but interested in complete builds too.

very interested in the gazelle, but worried it may be a tad small.
Does anyone know if its common it is to see rack mounts on gazelle A frame? Have had my eye out for a gazelle with eyelets and rack mounts for a while.
tried a search for the 'Piet De Wit' name but returned nothing relevant.Edit: provisional dibs

Few things for sale:
John Atkins track/path frame, 1950s?
55cm top tube c-c , 57cm seat tube c-t, 120mm rear o.l.d
Bought over summer from balki. Havent had the time or money to build it up properly, so it must go.
Paint has chips and spots of rust; nothing serious though. it could be easily resprayed, but i recon that would be a crime, i think it looks good as is.
Comes with period Stronglight 'competition' headset, which has been cleaned and re-packed with fresh bearings and grease. still very usable, there doesnt seem to be any notches.would like £130 (what i paid) and will throw in an almost new seatpost for it (26.4mm)
Seat clamp was a little over-tightened when i got it, spread it out and lightly filed the inside of the seattube back to what it should be.
700c chrome fork, threaded - NOT FOR SALE - TURNS OUT ITS UNUSABLE DO TO PREVIOUS OWNER MODIFYING IT
15cm of steerer, last 2cm of which is threaded£15
Brakeset (front and rear)
Off of a Specialized Langster
Bought them Barely used, pretty much no wear to the brake pads, i've not had a use fro them since buying.
unbranded calipers and specialized cross-top levers (look the same as a bunch of other cross-top levers, just branded differently). setup with cables, ready to go.£25 for the pair
Dibs + PMs as usual
Collection for all items in Waterloo
Maybe willing to meet with smaller bits in central/soho/clerkenwell if it suits the schedule -

I've searched and found similar problems, but nothing describing exactly the problem i'm having.
I have a Cinelli 1a, with expander bolt, and cant bloody get it tight enough. I've tried it with a 3 different frames, so i think that rules out an issue with the fork steerer tube.
Basically, I can get the expander bolt to engage fine, but it tightens up impossibly within a few turns, and the stem still turns easily within the steerer. I've even tried levering an allen key (managed to bend the allen key) in an attempt to get enough torque to tighten it. Still no help. I've taken out the expander wedge, cleaned the inside of the stem, regreased and checked the bolt thread, nothing has helped.
any suggestions?

Nice. What is the rear drop out o.l.d? and does it have gear cable guides around the BB? (can't tell from the pics).
