Hi all. I've been posting for all of a week, but have just taken delivery of the new bike so at last i am fixed. I'm after some advice on bars.
This is it:
Really not loving the bars that the previous owner had. Horns just don't seem right, and some of my friends reckon risers. For some perverse reason I have an urge for the 'tache, but that would be ridiculous, right? At the end of the day it will come down to what feels right, but I just wondered, what are your thoughts?

I live in the tiniest pokey flat so there is no room for a bike to live inside. With my heavyweight commuter beast I have been leaving it in the (equally tiny) back yard under a tarpaulin. However, I'm about to take delivery of a bike that is a bit more 'special'. If I do the same and buy a full bike 'pyjama' (evans do a couple) am I risking any damage? If so, I might have to think again as to where I keep it...
no room for sheds or boxes...

thanks, especially for the sheldon link (was just there myself). I was unclear in my original post - by not wanting to be 'strapped in' I meant the whole shoes/cleats combo. Too many shoes, too expensive, and they just wouldn't fit in with the vintage/retro look of the bike itself.
Wouldn't dream of going with naked pedals - I may be wet behind the ears, but I ain't stooopid.
So, some sort of pedals/toe-clips/straps arrangement is in order. Plastic vs metal for clips? and the straps?
Thanks again
