Abattoir Blues / Lyre of Orpheus - Nick Cave

This omits lots of really good new stuff - but don't think it's stood the test of time to be counted yet (Nick Cave scrapes in - it's been about 5 years since that album came out now...)

Oh, and based on the music tastes shown here, most of you should check out BBC 6 Music (if you haven't already).

I never understand how people enjoy Nick Drake,Pavement or Neil Young. I find them boring and monotonous!

I have been doing Crossfit (www.crossfit.com) for about four years and have seen really good results. I enjoy it because there is no real routine and is not dependent on lifting really heavy weights. Crossfit combined with cycling has kept my bodyfat down to around 11% even with my cheese and Sprite addictions.

hmm - Vinz, went for myriad as a noun eh? Some might have been tempted with the more usual adjective and said "the link gives me myriad choices" - but somehow this is rendered clumsy by the repetition of "m". In using the noun you use the indefinite article as a break between the two "ms" - and then somehow you manage to lend the whole sentence a more pleasing meter by the necessity of the "of".

Two riders one on red bike, the the other on a blue one. Neither apparently could read a sign that said 'Pedestrian walk way cyclists dismount" (the channel along brick lane) so when the both tried to filter into the walkway one had to swerve to avoid the pedestrian with a walking stick (me) thus forcing the blue one to collide with the other rider and fucking there front wheel. Only then to blame me for being in the way! Cunts. If I wasn't still in recovery i'd seriously resorted to violence.

My friends dad just passed away. He made a will that said his children were to recieve his house while his new wife was to recieve the remainder of his pension. But it has just been discovered the will was written before his marriage thus apparently making it invalid. Is this true?

I liked that film. The dialogue was sharp-ish.There does seem to be an influx of shit indie films though. I blame Wes Anderson.

I enjoyed the new Rambo! Wrath of God...Blah. Herzog is the most overrated directors of all time. I like what he writes but there is nothing exceptional about his directing. Thomas Mauch his long time cinematographer should be more recognised IMO.

If he had the time and the opportunity to avoid the girl then he should have done regardless of the girls position.
