I think that ripple is a bit of a worry.
Could you take more pictures of it? Are there any signs of similar on the top tube, also was it like that when you bought it or has it been in a collision that you are aware of?
Cheers
There's no evidence of more rippling on the top tube, neither does there look to be any stressing on the top of the down tube. It's fairly difficult to photograph, due to it being so small. It was like this when I got it.
I've kinda priced it accordingly. Without any damage I'd probably ask £300 or so just for the frame set, as it seems to be fairly rare in this country. Feel free to make an offer though!

I brought this frame back with me from my last visit to Cape Town. It's a South African built Le Jeune frame, built by Francois Du Toit (http://www.dutoitcycles.co.za/) who had license to build under the Le Jeune name after training there. Unknown tubing, but it'll be at least 531 on a frame of this quality.
Seat tube 60.5 cm c-t / 59.5 cm c-c
Top tube 57.5 cm
Head tube 20 cmUndrilled front and rear (super tight clearance up front, only room for a 23c!)
Very tiny ripple underneath downtube, behind headtube. So small you'd hardly notice it, but don't wanna be a dick and not mention it. It's never bothered me, and can't see how the frame wouldn't still be structurally sound.Other parts:
Formula hubs laced to B43 rims
Miche 165 Primato cranks & matching BB
Tasty RaceFace seat post
Unbranded bars, stem and grips
VP pedals, plastic clips, and suede double straps
Battered Prime saddle (might have a couple of other options)£420 ono
Viewing/test rides can be made at Fitzrovia Bicycles (136-138 New Cavendish Street, W1W 6YD). First come, first served!

Yep, pretty off topic, but I know there's a bunch of drummers on here. Decided to sell my beloved and trusty Pearl Masters MMX kit. It's the only kit I've owned for the past 9-10 years, and it's a beast!
22/10/12/14/16/18 ridiculous stadium rock setup, although for the past 5 years or so I've only used a 22/12/16 setup. It's been gigged a lot, and as a consequence the kick and 12" rack have taken the brunt of other drummers not setting up properly, with the rack touching the kick drum, and the bottom snare hoop touching the batter kick hoop. The finish is still great, but I can't say that there aren't quite a few knocks and scrapes here and there. It still sounds amazing though, and is probably still the loudest kit I've played, thanks to the thin 4 ply maple shell construction.
All drums come with protection racket cases, and there's tom arms for the 10, 12 and 14, and legs for the 16 and 18. Any questions please ask.
Prime opportunity to pick up a high end kit, albeit with a few war wounds, fort a bargain price.
£700 ono for the lot.
Collection only in North London.

Afternoon,
I built this up a few months ago after getting the frame on eBay, but it's not getting ridden, and I need cash monies for titanium.
-Isaac Force frameset (I believe this is from about 2009, and would've been one of their top end frames; 3k carbon with 7005 seatstays, and a tapered full carbon fork).
-Shimano 105 10 speed groupset (apart from chainset, which is an FSA Gossamer, 52/36, 172.5, and chain is KMC X10)
-Novatech hubs laced to 42mm depth carbon wrap rims, built with black DB spokes (either DT or Sapim, can't remember), Conti Ultra Sport folding tyres.
-Pro bar and stem combo with Fizik 3mm bar tape.
-Unbranded carbon seatpost, with a Selle Italia Flite saddle.
-No specific pedals included, but I can sort some out for you depending on what system you use.
-There's also a sensor for a wireless Cateye computer still on the forks, I can include a computer if you want one.Sizes:
-Seat tube 60.5cm c-t, 55cm c-c
-Top tube 58cm actual, 58.5cm effective (not much of a slope)
-Head tube 21cmCondition is pretty good, there's some flaking of the lacquer on the down tube, top tube and stays, and it looks like a previous owner had raceblades fitted to the seat stays. The one bad point with the frame, is that the lower of the 2 bolts that holds the gear hanger onto the frame has snapped off. It was like this when I bought it, and although the top bolt seems relatively efficient in connecting the hanger to the frame, once a wheel is in it holds everything securely in place, and I've had no problems with shifting in the few hundred miles I've done on it. The groupset is still in excellent condition, the chain is showing very little sign of stretch, and the pads have loads of life left.
£620 ono

Has anyone done this? Apologies if this has been discussed before, a few quick searches didn't bring anything up.
Have been lucky enough to get hold of one of Mark Cavendish's world champ jerseys, so seems sensible to get it in a nice big frame (well, not that big, the jersey is bloody tiny).
Any tips on who to call/where to go?
-
Perfect, that's just what i was looking for really. I'll give them a call at lunch and see what they say. There any other places like that about ?
Excusing all ignorance as well .. OTPs ??
Yep, give us a call on 02076315060 (I'm one of the co-owners at Fitzrovia Bicycles). A budget of £1k is more than ample to build a really nice steel road bike, plus with a custom build you obviously get to decide exactly how it's going to look (to an extent).
Cheers.
Special dealz on all three, innit.
