Yes you should feel bad.
Think of it this way - if it was the other way round, and a car driver gave false dets to a cyclist whose bike he'd damaged then fucked off, there'd be roaming gangs of fixie riders hunting them down.
Mind you, it is one up from the cunthead that knocked me off my bike last week then just fucked off without stopping. Did I mention that yet?

Gyeswho
billa why does he have chain tugs on the gt and a slack chain?? lazybones methinks it's all for show.
that's the slackest part of the chain but gets tighter if you rotate the wheel but its an old pic and has since been tightened a lil more. you think wrong tho, its really useful when you catch a flat and are in a hurry because you just set it and then it'll be right were you had it before.
Did I mention that it is a beautiful bike?

ahh shit sorry to hear it, its shocking how shit people drive... any hope of insurance payout? best of luck with the recovery!
Yeah sadly the cnut fucked off straight after knocking me off, so didn't even get their details. On the upside... a CT scan showed that in fact my wrist is not broken - just ligament damage! Great news - but how the hell did the hospital get that wrong?

dominiclincoln layers? just get a buffalo top. pile / pertex big face has done me for 12 years so far and is still fine worn on its own. One layer, any temperature. Wear it in the rain, snow, drizzle, whatever. Forgot I even had it til the other day then wore it when it was miserable the couple of weeks back, and teamed up with a full face windstopper balaclava, nowt will bother you.
Buffalo tops are awesome, but I personally find them too hot for more than about 10 mins of cycling. I go for base layer then windstopper - your own body heat will keep you warm after a while...

silasmellor guy on vintage carlton fixie in clissold park, had a chat about trackstands and riding backwards, just curious to see if you're on here as well...
Yeah, that's me - I had a quick go on your Flyer if I remember rightly! Annoyingly was knocked off my fixie last week by some cnut in a car - broken wrist mean I am out for two months.
I am also a climber and am constantly amused at the number of climbers who ride fixed - if you go to the Castle or Mile End around 1/2 the bikes parked up are fixed. That includes some guy on a beautiful Mercian black frame, chrome drops and no brake.
God's own gear ratio - 49:17, which is around 75". Suits me fine around flat London.
