Does it need to be a new one? there's alway some on tz-uk. I'm not a huge speedy fan but there was one on there a while ago, a Schumacher edition with a yellow dial. It was strange, as in so odd that it would probably offend the purists and was so off message (fully murdered-up time pieces) that I loved it. That's the only one that's piqued my interest. Anyway, why not just buy a used one? Allow for a service and you can always sell it on if you don't get on with it.

Hey,
I know there's quite a few folks on here take either bike or other sports training pretty seriously and I'm sure some of you use supplements like protein, creatine or various other sports drinks etc.I'm trying to find out a little more about folks attitudes and uses for a potential 'side hustle' (aka a time sink). If any of you do use them and can spare 60 secs to click on a few boxes I'd be grateful for the input.
Who knows if it'll go anywhere but I thought I'd do a little research before I get much further.
Thanks in advance. I think the form works as intended, after a test run in the weight training thread, but let me know if you have any issues. I's just a google form and you can find it here.

I just recommended this guy a few posts up:
http://watchguy.co.uk/You'd need to post it though - unless you live near them. Seem super honest from my dealings with them.

Ah... bloody google forms. I thought I'd checked that box. Will do it now. Seems that there was a couple that had gone through as single answer only.
I got a bit more interested when I got so fed up of shit lunches that I started using a kind of supplement enhanced smoothie rather than buying crap sandwiched or something else I had no desire to eat. It may not be exciting but it takes me no time to prep, costs me little and gets more reasonable things in than whatever else I used to bring or buy.
It's usually some combo of oats, fruit, greens, protein, seeds etc. It's no science but it did have an unexpected effect of dumping a load of fat. I assume it's fat as I'm 5kg lighter and no weaker. I know about Huel but this feels a bit less astro-penitentiary.

I'm actually doing a bit of simple, initial research into sport supplements at the mo and most of you in here seem to use them. If any of you have 60 secs would you mind ticking a few boxes for me? It's really basic, just age etc., what you use and how you feel about it. Would be much appreciated if anyone could spare a minute.
In a nutshell, I'm wondering if everyone is as confused as me...I'm also going to post it in the general thread as I know most on here use them for cycling reasons but I'm also interested in the general fitness users.
It's just a google form and you can find it here.
Ta much.

There's loads of body weight / park fitness stuff on youtube. Some of it's super impressive and probably only possible when you're 19 but worth a look. I switched over to quite a bit more bodyweight stuff and more simple compound lifts a while back and it seemed to make a difference. I've come to the conclusion it's easier not to put the shit in than try and work the shit off though and reduced what I was eating quite a bit. i'm probably the lightest, and strongest, I've been since I was about 20. I use the gym but at least 50% of it I could do in the park with somewhere to do pull-ups.

I'm sure this has been mentioned before but I can't get search to work...
I've just had my Sinn serviced and repaired by 'the watch guy'. Super nice, better priced than Sinn (esp given the EX rate) and really honest. Offered to do a quick fix and send it back for 30 quid. The case clasp had snapped and was jamming the movement.
You can also see pics of the whole process as he uploads them to your customer area. I'm just giving him some props as it's not that easy to find and y'all into time pieces. As I said, sure you're all over it so consider this another recommendation.
I put the cash I saved toward a G shock so I can stop wearing the Sinn 24/7 and hopefully extend the time till the next service.
Picked up a G-shock steel with the carbon bezel for a good price and so far liking the totaly OTTness of it. And the fact it has Saph glass in it unlike my previous Gs.

So, no idea if this is the best way to sell this lot, in fact it's almost certainly not, but it would save me some hassle...
I have this, previously, V nice SS/FG build that was intended as a run about. However... about a week after I built it I had a comedy off and wrote the frame off. The lightweight italian frame came out a lot worse than this heavy Jock. It's been sat in the garage since. So, if anyone has a frame and is looking for an easy build you can take all this lot off my hands. Of if you're handy with a brazing torch and like a chalenge...
It's got:
Hand built Open pros on Goldtech hubs (front re-trued after off)
a 17t Surly sprocket one side and a shimano freewheel the other.
New Vittoria 28s
Cinelli stem
Selle italia saddle
Sram rear and 105 front brakes
Diacomp, I think, bar end levers
new cranks and chain
All other bits like bars, seatpost, headset, cables etc. as new.
No pedal though. Not really sure what a reasonable price for the lot is so let me know if it's way off - or feel free to offer a load more.
200 quid?
Pick up in Dulwich or I can maybe drop it off if it's not too far.

Thanks for the input, always useful. I was leaning toward the 85 as I've seen the difference the DC makes on test shots and my philistine eyes couldn't really see much difference at all. Plus getting the extra space required indoors for the 105 might prove a bit troublesome. Will let you know what I end up getting.

Lots of good shots on here these days. That one ^ is great. He's either blissfully unaware or caring of the environment or distraught.
I'm thinking of getting a new lens and wondered if anyone had any experience / opinions? I'm getting a D750 from a mate to replace my old DX sensor Nikon that I've had about 10 years. Most of the lenses I have are actually from my nikon film camera so will be fine on the full frame body. I've been looking for a prime for portraits and 'at work' shots. From what I can see the two main candidates are the 85mm 1.4 or the 105mm 2 DC. I can get them as an expense and they are both a similar price from one of the Hong Kong based UK officed sites, which is about the same or cheaper than 2nd hand. I'm leaning toward the 85 as it's faster and slightly wider but that 105 looks beautifully made. Anyone used either?

The promotion for that event was nonexistent. Still, looked pretty busy though, que was huge at about 3pm. My mate was wondering why most of Essex seemed to be at H Hill station as he hadn't noticed it was on either.
We did Moodyman on saturday eve. Very good, first hour was a bit neither here nor there but after that he got pretty interesting.

Hey all,
What's the current consensus on a cheapish (ideally under 50 quid) on ear bluetooth option? Been looking at the Sony ZX220BT at about 45 quid. Mainly as I like the Dieter Rams-ness of the design. They're an xmas present for the GF so huge gaming cans are out...
