Dear all, whilst I don't post much these days on our beloved forum - I'm more motorcycle focused these days as some of you may already know.

I'm a DAS instructor for Phoenix in Crystal Palace SE London, but on the side I'm also an instructor for VC London, a women's motorcycle collective devoted to getting more women on bikes.

So with that in mind I'd like to do a shameless plug for VC Moto school which is run by myself and fellow forumite @Charlotte

We do beginners sessions for women interested in riding motorcycles, currently we're running monthly weekend sessions from our space in East London (Silvertown). If you are a (moto) bike curious female or know any female friends that might be, please send them our way. We have spots available on our 13-14th July sessions and will be running another session in August and September this year.

Yep, Jenne as asked me to try and organise some streaming - I'm currently waiting to find out if the venue even has an internet connection (as its cash only and pretty old fashioned) If not we may be able to sort out something via 4G. Whilst I'm good at internet plumbing I have no experience of streaming media - so if some of you media types could DM me if you can assist with platform recommendations etc I'd be grateful - Ideally, I'd like to get an audio stream and a fixed camera at the venue, but will see what's possible.

Huzzah! I'll be reccying the route tomorrow - and will post it up so you can put it in your phones if necessary. I'll be on the Brompton and slow as fuck as I spend more time on a motorbike than a bicycle these days - so don't worry about keeping up!

It's been 10 Years since the original 50 Fixed Women's ride, we're all 10 years old and our knees are probably buggered now.

Let's celebrate by doing another ride! Start outside Buckingham Palace as usual - ending up for a picnic in Richmond Park if it's nice or a nearby pub if it's not.

I'll get the route up shortly and more details. All Ladies welcome fixed/gears/cargo/pennys/child-carrying-contraptions

I wont hold it against anyone if they don't ride fixed..but yes @mrs_socks riding the plug is compulsory! Hasn't been any more voting for a few days, so it looks like it's gonna be the 31st August - I'll get an event thread going shortly!

Basically it's a women's only ride to either a picnic or pub location - all women welcome and you don't have to ride fixed - ride should be an easy 10-15 miles tops.

It has been bloody years, lets make it happen - I'm pretty flexible on location as I'm funemployed at the moment. South bank will be nice in the sunshine.

EDIT: Just noticed there is a LMNH pop up at London Bridge, next to the pier!

Whilst this sounds like something sordid and glamorous like the Thomas Crown affair, I suspect it was in fact a drunken Australian mistaking one tall female forumenger for another.

Updated thread. Apologies to @FlashGordon for the Claris debacle - it looks like the cleaners at my work accidently threw them away or (stole them), and an 'investigation' yielded bugger all. Pretty annoyed really.

@sacredhart and @recycled please get in touch if you still want the items you dibbed, otherwise this stuff will start going on fleabay.
