That's not a bad price. I'm a real fan of Icebreaker myself - widely available, very well made and about the same sort of price. Perhaps that final point is the key one though - the Rapha kit is similarly price (almost reasonable for them!) and you're supporting a small company run by enthusiasts.
Does anyone know if the sizing runs small like most of their products?

Not at all - in fact flashing lights have only recently been accepted as road legal (and even then only if they're BS-approved, which most aren't).
I've got a set of those little Backupz lights - I think they were £4 the pair from the CTC Rally. I stuff them in one of the pockets of my bag, so I've pretty much always got them with me. They're not that bright, but they're good enough if you've forgotten your main lights or get stuck in the pub longer than you expected.
Somehow I missed this until it was over - I'd be up for a repeat if it's run again.
