Purchased during the pandemic but never built because I brought it as an XL, turns out its an L.
Although one of the more affordable models in the VX line this still has the highly shaped tubes, handmade and hand assembled in France into the overall frameset. It also benefits from things like Time’s QuickSet headset system, but also a conventional seattube and threaded bottom bracket reducing reliance on proprietary parts.
Geometry chart attached but it’s basically 57cm CtT on the seattube and 56cm CtC on the top tube.
Cosmetically it’s a six-footer - some bubbling under the clearcoat, various scratches and chips and some corrosion on the alloy bottom bracket shell but none of that affects the integrity of the frame. I would prefer someone inspected in person, but happy to post if desired.
Looking for £150 for the frame, forks, headset and a couple of Time-branded spacers

Thank you for all the interest - this is now sold pending collection.

This is a big frame - 66cm c-t-t and 61cm c-t-c on the seattube, and 57cm c-t-c on the top tube. 235mm or so headtube.
Immaculate condition - used for Sunday best only. Looking for £750 - collection from W6 ideal but can post at cost if needed.

This was originally an SSXC bike set up with chunky lugged tyres, and painted a light metallic shade. It was repainted brown by Armourtex a few years ago, and is currently set up as a town bike - but could be adapted to a range of uses.
So - frame, forks and stem by the renowned independent builder Robin Mather. Fillet brazed, with a bilam sleeved effect on the seat tube - pictured, but honestly it would show better with wet paint rather than powdercoat.
Build is as follows:
- Mather frameset, including custom Mather fillet brazed stem and Phil Wood adjustable track dropouts
- Campagnolo Record headset w/ carbon top cap
- Campagnolo seatpost
- Random alloy bars - I thought they were Nitto but I can’t find any markings
- Tektro brake levers
- Avid cantilevers with titanium hardware
- Phil Wood SS / fixed rear hub and Campagnolo high flange front, laced 36h to Mavic CXP33 rims
- Campagnolo Chorus chainset and BB, set up with a single ring
- Halo Clickster freewheel and Phil fixed cog
I will post more detailed measurements but this is one for the tall lads - I’m 6ft 3in with long legs. From recall the top tube is a little over 61cm effective. So really only those over 6ft have a chance of riding it comfortably.
Looking for £600 firm for everything as it stands. Would be willing to split frame / forks / stem for £400. Collection from W6 Hammersmith - would prefer not to post if possible.
The Brooks saddle pictured is not included (can include something generic if needed) although if you really want it we can discuss pricing. I have a range of other Nitto bars so if you wanted a different shape we can also discuss adding another pair.

I picked these up off the forum a few weeks back on the understanding they were a Campy freehub, but they’re actually a Shimano so no good for the build I am working on.
Chris King black road hubs (130mm / 100mm Quick Release) laced 18h radial front and 24h crossed rear to some 40mm generic carbon tubular rims (700c).
The hubs are the highlight here, well over £600 new. Overall these are a very light set of wheels (will pop them on the scales in a bit). Rims seem to have very little wear and run true.
Asking what I paid, £280 collected from W6.

So #throwback for anyone who came up on the MTB scene in the 90s. Just found these in an envelope - some of the original flower stickers that Jo Burt used on his Zinn, blagged off him for a pint or something like that.
Would you be able to make a bunch more of these? I have no way near enough to execute my dastardly plans...
