I've got a Dyma cover sitting upstairs. No problems with secure attachment or the way it looks - at a glance you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference between the cover and a real disc. But in terms of aero gains, the cover adds so much weight to a normal box-section rim you're more likely to go slower with it on. I did!

I had a go at the arithmetic for the frame's BB height:
700c x 23mm tyre circumference is 2097mm (according to my computer calibration manual) so 2097/pi = diameter = 667.5mm. So it's 667.5/2 = 333.75mm from the centre of the wheel to the ground.
Subtract the BB drop to get the height of the BB above the ground: 333.75 - 61 = 272.75mm. Which is less than the Manchester minimum BB height.
And I suspect BB heights are normally quoted without taking the tyre into account, which would only make the BB on that frame even closer to the ground.
Between the braze-ons, the spacing, the bottle bosses and the BB height, I don't think it's worth the bother.

Hi, RPM. Ta for the reply. I do indeed like the frame - you cannae go wrong with black paint! :-) I've got some reservations, though. How much are you looking for? My budget is flexible but I can only justify spending so much on what may turn out to be a whim. Your frame is less entry-level than what I had in mind.
Also, although I could ride a 58cm top tube if it was paired with a short stem, I think I'd rather go the other way: shorter top tube, longer stem. Give me an idea of the figure in your head, please, and I'll have a think about it. Cheers.
-
..for velodrome use. I'm interested in track frames or complete bikes with a top tube length of 57cm or thereabouts and a bottom bracket height of 280mm minimum. A black paintjob wouldn't hurt either. :-) Doesn't have to be a Dolan, though. What have you got, folks? Open to suggestions. Post or PM, please.

Sorry, cipolinni, it has to be a Trimatic. I had one until a few weeks ago - I got it on here for 12 quid. It was the comfiest saddle I ever owned, but the rails started to wobble so it had to go. If I can get a like-for-like replacement (before I turn into a giant, weeping saddle sore) then I don't need to worry about fit.

Does anyone have one of these kicking about? I'm looking for the first model in the Trimatic series - the one with the plastic yellow end-pieces. Cosmetic condition isn't important, so long as the rails are still firmly attached to the main body of the saddle. It does need to be black, though. Send me a PM, please.

yeah sorry i didnt not make myself clear, it was cassette spacers. thanks everso much through none the less!
Nah, it's not your fault; I'm the culpable party. I was too eager to get rid of something I'll never use. Should have checked.
So...Skelator's still on the hunt for spacers - cassette spacers. Meanwhile, I'm looking for answers. Specifically, how is it fair that my noble altruistic intentions were rewarded by making an arse of myself in public? :-)

Most of the new 27's available in the UK are single wall, non-eyleted and probs pretty pants.
Now you come to mention it, I was looking for new 27s earlier this month - for a fixed conversion - and it was the lack of eyelets that put me off the Rigida rims. I ended up taking apart the original wheels that came with the bike, and reusing the rims. Maybe you could keep an eye out for a complete wheelset on eBay and buy it just for the rims?

How about some cheapo Madisons from Dales?

Cheers.
