Just a suggestion but would a memorial plaque from the forum not be a nice gesture. Something small, something personal but more importantly something permanent.

I'm happy to donate for flowers etc but feel that once done it its all forgotten.

yes it was me who made a balls up of my first attempt! I'll def give it another go til i get it right, and like Dogsballs says failing that he can fix em for you relatively cheap and super quick so whats the worst you can do.

If anything from my first experience take care with threading the spokes, its quite precise the reason i went wrong was because i was like a bull in a china shop. Had i taken my time and been more methodical i'm sure it would have been a different outcome! (well i'm hoping)

not had a 650 wheel on there Dylan but the fork measures 31 cm in depth, a 700 just too big so think 650 would do it.

sorry guy the shorter frame is 700 at the back but not at the front.

As for Daveypants could nt say as theres no way a frame would have my name on it, have to be a really long frame!

Got a couple of Lo pro frames hangin about that could do with a good home.

First is a Shorter Roachford,(North london Frame builders) Reynolds 531 frame with campag headset and bottom bracket.

Seat tube is 57 cm
top tube is 58 cm
Rear spacing 130 with vertical drop outs
Has a minor ding which can be seen in the photo on the top tube.

No dings,paintwork well used and would suit resto.

Currently has Shimano headset and TA cranks not sure on the BB.
Accepts 700c wheels front and back.
