Alex,
Thanks for purchasing a bucket of tar of the internet. The brush you've used on me seems to have done the trick too.
A note of interest mind is not all IBD's* are the same or offer the same quality of work.
So all in all thanks for you undying support of what is still a reasonably small industry making ends meet on relativly small margins.
Love you too.
*I do not work for BLB but another IBD.

Hi not posted too much before.
I work in central London bike shop and we need shop floor staff for Saturdays and Sundays.
The pay will not set your world on fire but will buy a fair few rounds at the Snow, not too metion a good staff discount on all things bike.
So if you have a good knowledge of bikes and fancy a job whisper me your details and I'll be in touch to tell you more.
Cheers

"I think it is pretty clear that the specific complaints are directed at BLB. "
Sorry Alex I disagree your only ever state at the very end of your post that the shop is near Brick Lane for the rest of your rant you just state LBS.
Although I understood where you ment I'm guessing there would be some less informed/not local to London who didn't.
Yes I might of jumped down your throat but that is due to me being irksome at best let alone on Sunday mornings when I'm at work with a hang over.
I also get angry over continual bashing that bike shops get on internet forums (not just this one). I'm not saying the one that I work in is perfect; far from it. JUst trying to get enough staff to work on paultry wages to cover all the shifts is pretty hard, let alone staff that have brains and know how to treat customers. We can but try.
Either way enjoy the postage strikes or try another shop or two. Some of us can offer good service at a pretty good price.
