I would echo this... in my experience Buses are so much worse than cabbies...
I used the 'go slow' retaliation only this morning on the slip road to Vauxhall Bridge.
On the streets of South London, I find blowing any offending male motorist a kiss the best way of dealing with any situation. For some reason, they always seem to get very hot under the collar, whilst I remain absolutely serene.

wayne_f14 My two favourite replies for cycling use with drivers is a loud camp shout of 'OOOHHHH YOU ARE AWFUL' dick emery style or if a discussion has been started i play my trump card of 'I was only trying to help you ro-land' - confuse the f**kers and make yourself smile at the time, it's better than giving in to the red mist
That is the one I am particularly going to use in the future... Obtuse, with subtle undertones of schizophrenia.

Has anyone ever heard of 'Vindec'?

hippy Dunno.. looked like a liquid drop to me but then I'm probably thinking about beer (and have obvious issues with design). ;)
"pereira" means pear tree apparently.. Spanish slang for "a nightclub with lots of fit women inside possessing large breats"
I know I'm a newb and everything, but is a 'large breat' a specific component?
Will it help with my chainline?
And how much will it cost Vaz to respray one?

Hovis Brown i'd rather avoid having to post cards to all the users of the forum (unless you're out of town/country). there are several people on the forum with cards that will end up at various bike meets. i try and be at polo on sundays, so you can pick up some there...otherwise it's going to be critical mass, sunday ride, etc.
Cool... even more incentive to get up to polo...!

Well, if you can stretch to a pair of Velocitys
they come in red, machined -
Hubs for 32H are more common than 36H, I think... You pays your money, you takes your choice - but I wouldn't necessarily go through ebay.
I am just coming to the end of my first fix. Being a newb, and skint, I used an on-one fixed hub. Seems alright so far, but others probably have more experience.
120mm and 135mmm - each £15 -
Cheers mdja for the heads up
Vaz and be damned -

I heard a theory that this was a gamble by Landis that went horribly wrong.
The day before that stage he had bonked severely and was in danger of slippinng down the GC. In the knowledge that he was unlikely to be picked up by a random test, he/his team gamble on a synthetic boost.
Unfortunately, for some reason, he 'over-performed' - basically he should have just come in with the leading group, and made up some time. However, because he won the stage outright he was automatically tested.
But if he had come in 2nd, or 10th, he would have got away with it.
