Im on Glebelands Ave, just of Clifton Rd - quite near the maccy d's - shops wise now? well, there's a huge toys r us which can keep you company and a HUUGE jd sports - I swear, its the biggest one I've seen in the oddest location.

bike shop wise yeh, I used to work in JD when it opened about 3 years back... It's quite a logical location I think right on the A12. Used to deliver to Glebelands Av when I was a paper boy...I'm still a fucking paper boy, I've really gone far in life ey?

Yeh, where abouts in newbury park?..I was on Cranley Road top of Ley St near the maccy d... Isn't many good shops round there anymore, Bike Asylum was the best of a bad bunch and now it's gone. Superbike used to be the best bmx joint around as well.

Easy, used to ride from Newbury Park through that way every day... Now I occasionally pass by on the way to see the fam.. Gotta love death valley (Manor Park to Ilford) worst drivers in the country!

Acid pro pretty much does everything as well... I prefer it than logic, run a few vst's for different functions and you're laughing.

h2o I like riding a bike, but maintaining gears is irritating so I ride my geared bike only when I can't do the ride fixed. So yeah, I probably will still be riding my fixie in 5 years, assuming I don't move somewhere where it would be unfeasible.

Bill: haha! Though I suspect the guy I saw in BLB a while ago buying a bright pink bike with matching Deep Vs might go through that thought process in a year or two...

Now i'm sure you're not talking about me because i don't have pink deep v's...infact the only guy I know with a pink bike and deep v's would never go through this process i'm sure, and neither will I.

Anyway, who gives a shit. Ride what you like when you like.

Easy… Thanks to all that took part. In the end 20 people took part in the alleycat and we raised around £130 for mike. Not bad for a alleycat organised in two days?

2nd. Little Terry
3rd. Mario

Mike finished 5th after going the wrong way down Victoria Park Road. Peter donated his prizes to mike which was a really nice gesture. A lot of people ended up going up Highgate Hill more than once. Only one non-finisher.
Thanks to brick lane cycles, cavendish cycles and another shop for their donations to prizes. Special thanks to the check point people!
