pip Heather: if you're not in london on the 29th you'll miss the Keirin fest at Herne Hill. Worth staying in town for, should be a blast:
http://www.londonfgss.com/discussion/884/herne-hill--keirin/yo that sounds so awesome! The flyer says its the 27th, which is a bank holiday...I wonder if the firm I work for will be closed. I'd love to come out and race!

or herne hill track riding on saturday mornings, if you can get up early enough :)
for the record i live south and still haven't managed it :P[/quote]I definitely want to check out the track, but I am planning to go outside of London on the 2 weekends I'm there. I really want to go to Paris and maybe Barcelona if I can find cheap tickets.
Are there any weeknight events at the track? -

woo-hoo! I just found out that I'll have off that day!
I am only planning to bring my riser bars, does anyone know if the track has extra drop bars I could borrow, or do one of you have an extra I could use for the day?
Thanks!
