the dmr's grip like glue due to the long pins. plus i like to be able to jump on at any time and not worry bout shoes.ffub, yeah i've read that b4 ;) , but fixed is so much fun

tallsam btw seeing as this has become the official Melbourne thread. What's you fav Melbourne bike shop?
Mine has to be Melbourne Bikes in Clifton Hill - cause my mate works there and gives me stuff for free and never charges me for his work/time. Awesome. It's also a great shop and the staff are passionate about bikes.
It's pretty cold here in Melb today and has been for most of the last few months. Possibly colder than its been in England in Winter. Bitterly cold. A bunch of ppl have said its the coldest they'd ever known it to be. I should go back to Cairns.
melbourne bike shops is the tops, bought 3 bikes there over the years. had a really good mate from highschool work there.

David K, i underestimated the size of the intake plenum when i swapped the engine into the car, doh! didn't want to cut a hole in bonnet.
.
custom built 4.3 litre v6, mooohahaaa!brett, it is "mint julip" , can you believe a factory colour?!?!
BRM666, thanks dude. was nice but had to sell coz it was a serious headache. too low, too loud, too many breakdowns. they were narrow 6" rims with only 165 tyres, fuggin scary with 180 rwkw under the right foot.

Velo seat off my new bianchi pista, black with shiny silver vinyl strip, only few rides use.Sylvan chrome touring pedals, holes for toe-clips, brand new, had on for 1 day.
~~Bianchi 1" head stem ~100mm long, silver anodised finish with white bianchi logo on one side, the other with ~~bianchi/anodising removed, (would clean up nice), think the clamp is rough 25.4-26mm (as i can fit most bars inc cinelli tempo's)
Pair of front and rear bianchi high-flange hubs with Alex rims, fixed/free, 700cx23, few small gutter rashes, run perfect, with tape/nuts
-see in this thread http://www.londonfgss.com/discussion/1207/looking-for-a-new-front-andor-rear-fixed-wheel/#Item_14
-maybe gone alreadyMAYBE - Cinelli tempo bars, widish ~44cm, weird thick clamp section 26mm, shortened, clamp area little rough, just been cleaned to clear up scratches, but should come up nice with sand-paper/polish
18-20T fixed cog + lockring
