We have a approx 6kw solar PV too. No battery though.
More of a long term aim (mostly due to the cost) but I was thinking about getting one at some point. What battery do you have?
Been looking at this comparison website here: https://www.solarguide.co.uk/solar-batteries#/ but need to do some maths on how long it'd take to pay for itself.
We just had a new gas combi boiler fitted so won't be doing the HW tank (although its apparently possible). Would like to have explored electric boilers more too but didn't have time. The old one died and needed replacing asap.

I have a cellar but the floor slopes from about 3 feet to about 5 feet max. Its unusable apart from for storage.

Bought and sold a bit of Shib recently. I had some back in May. Made money on it but I'd have made a lot more if I'd held.
Although lets be honest I'd have either got bored in the interim (where it wasn't worth much) or sold to lock in profits long before the recent peak.

I have £5 worth bought in the late 70s (when I was born). Never won a thing. According to an online inflation calc that £5 would now be worth £ 31.86, not to mention any accrued interest. Terrible 'investment'.

Maguras and Positron. But look at that frame! Love it.Down tube and seat tube are one piece. Plus I think the headtube is some kind of bilam.
EDIT: I should point out that I'm aware its not a great bike. Some would say ugly. Makes me like it even more.

Hi all, did this production run ever happen? Did you keep the design the same?
@Chak have you fitted the forks to a bike? How are you getting on with them? Do they handle well?
I'm thinking of designing some cargo forks for a uni project (studying in your 40s is hard af). So I'm looking at what else is available and how I can offer something different. It may just turn into a feasibility study so may not come up with anything better. Fairly unlikely I'll ever physically make any either. Just a design/engineering exercise.
Obviously I'm going to look at the Crust forks and any similar. Feel free to suggest any I may have missed (I'll start a thread if it seems like a doable project).
