Selling this Lauer frame which was on many forum rides between 2007-2011. It has been sitting in the basement for too long and I don't have the space to put it on display in the apartment, nor do I ride it. It is all about cargo, road, and gravel these days.
It is a custom frame from Claus Lauer build in the 1980s, using Columbus SLX tubing on Cinelli lugs. It comes with a Campag seatpost (not stuck) and a campag BB (needs a good service). A drilled fork is mounted on a Campag headset but I add the original fork. I also add a Lauer Jersey, which I got from Jos when he still had the vintage bike shop in London Fields.
The paint is chipped in a few places but not corrosion visible. I will provide more pictures later tonight on detailed views and geometry.
Shipping or transfer from Berlin, Germany has to be added.
Note: I had the bike on ebay before as a complete mixed built but decided to split and sell the frame here on the forum exclusively. The ebay offer no longer exists.

thanks jonny for coming along all the way.
as I mentioned i forgot to point out the view we could have had overlooking Cuckmere Haven.this will certainly make for a great deluxe destination especially since clintsomker is always keen on trying out these places mentioned in the Wild Swimming guide. This is one of them but I can only say be prepared for a surprise.
Will follow this thread from a distance next year. -

67.5psi
it's all in the detail
that is short for:
enough but not really enough
or
i can squoosh the tire just a little bit with mit left thumb, my right thumb would tell me i should just keep on pumping with this joke pump.

The Roydon ride was always one of my favourites and the reverse one didn’t disappoint either. It is so calm and almost uneventful but still entertaining. The few short uphill section made for a nice surprise.
Last night reminded me how important it is to always keep the tyre properly inflated, the 67.5 psi I put on after the puncture resulted in a nice pinch puncture on the ride back with shoots. Luckily it was only 1k before the service station on High Road/ Epping Forest round about.
Will, thanks for the drink and inner tube it came in handy but I must say the valve is very short to fit the deep Vs. -

very happy to have made it last night. kent nerver fails to deliver.
i have one more puncture to add to the ride. must have picked up a massive shard of glass on the way to the station, if only I had noticed it on the train there would have been enough time to service not only a puncture. the only thing that made the repair in victoria station difficult was the the temptation of whopperes at armlength.
This is no longer for sale.
