claus always seems fairly in control with his Deltas whenever I've ridden with him (including some frenetic descending).
yes they work fine. that is if you dont race with them in a close pack where everyone else runs modern dual pivots. for normal riding and even rainy mountain decents they have proven to work for me.
3.5mm alan key is available form clerkenwell screws. what really made the difference on my deltas was to replace the spacers that so the pads sit a tiny bit closer to the rim. the perfect spacer for that are the inside parts of campag chainring bolts. i also got new pads and shoes. you really dont want to run a dried-up 20 year compound of original brake pads.

TNRC 2nd Annual Awards Ceremony 9th Nov 2010 @ Charlie Wright's
http://www.charliewrights.comAfter a long and rewarding season, what better way to celebrate than with a get-together at a great location for booze, food and some live music.
This will be a ruffle shirt evening for the men, girls come as you like. All wags are invited and encouraged to come along and enjoy the fact that their chosen love is involved in one of the greatest clubs ever. Make no mistake: the TNRC is a wonderful thing and it only exists because you come out and ride the lanes in all weathers. Now is the time to share a beer together.
The pub is laid-back and unpretentious. Jonny and I have been going for years. If you want a cheap Thai meal, the restaurant is there (recommended) or sit back and talk shit in the pub bit. Minimum one ride entry requirement.
There will of course be prizes for these three categories:
- Best rider 2010
- Best climber 2010
- Most improved rider 2010
Just cut and paste that with your nominations and PM it to me (clintsmoker). One vote each. No self-promotion. You can vote even if you only rode once.
if you want to suggest some more categories, then do so on here. (Polky?)List

the **ContourHD 1080p Hi-Def Helmet Camera **looks ok and could probably do the job with a Hope strapped next to it. I had some surprisingly good results of night shots with a flip+Hope combo. Helmet camera footage tends to be a bit boring and i am not sure if that would do justice to the awesomeness of TRNC.

the coffee place is great. visited last year when it was still called jika jika. i think it is still run by the same guy, some ex rugby pro but nothing like a sprots bar.
tim it is certainly not on the greasy side of breakfasts. I got it recommended with the note that "they take their coffee a bit too serious" -

Looking for a RALEIGH RECORD around 55cm frame. Frame only or build up. It is going to be a present. Basically a friend wants to give this bike to his father for his 70. birthday. It would be the same kind of bike his father once raced on and he "lost" on a night out ages ago.
