Sorry if this has been asked previously but previous searches didn't really help.
I'm planning on building a lightweight CX wheelset which will mostly be used on the road. I plan to use Sapim CX-Rays and Stans Iron cross rims but am not sure what hubs would be best. I'm looking for lightweight but not quite Chris king money. I weigh 60kg and was hoping for 24h front, 28h rear.

Theory test booked. I think I'll ride a 125cc for a little while and then get a CBF500 or similar. The irritating thing is that my main use for the bike will be commuting as I graduate this year and start work in August and all the potential hospitals I will be working in over the next two years are either cycling distance or motorway commutes so I wouldn't get much use out of a 125cc.

Plug the turntable into a non-phono input on the amplifier such as the AUX.
On another note. I have a Sansui AU-D33 amplifier which I've been using happily for a few years now. My one issue with it is that the volume pot is a bit scratchy and that sometimes (especially soon after powering up) the left or right channels sometimes dropout. I was told that the two issues were one and the same and that cleaning the pot would probably solve both. Today I cleaned the pot with Servisol and the scratching is gone but I've had a few dropouts on the left channel. Any ideas what this could be? I've ensured that all the connections are sound following having the case off for the clean.

Just get TRP Spyres - unless you are a 95kg beast.
Is this a commonly held opinion? I'm very interested in the idea of hydraulics but note the ~£70 added cost compared to S500s, good cables, and Spyres which offer similar performance (60kg rider) and ease of setup. I've only every ridden cantis and never had any mud in the cable issues with them but had terrible problems with mud in my rear shifter cable when running a 1x10 setup which resulted in me being stuck in the 12T and having to abandon a race. How to mechanical discs fair with regards to this and what cables do people recommend?

Yeah this seems to be what I've found. Having owned two orient express carbons before I'm quite keen to go back to alloy. Stripping a CAADX would work but would leave quite a few things to sell on and would end up costing ~£700 for the frameset.
EDIT: Having had a look at the FR-602, I think I'd be daft not to go for one of those.

The guy who's building them is a mechanic pal who builds ~300 wheelsets a year. I'll run the 24h idea by him and if he's unsure I'll go for 28h.
