fixgrrrl
wayne_f14 you may find it useful to get a mate to take a quick video of you on their phone of you riding for a bit - you'll get a really good idea of how locked out your arms are, where you're overstretched, if the frame is too big/small etc.
how you think you sit on the bike and the reality can be way off sometimes and yes, you will look like a right loonbag as it's being done...
That's a good idea- better than me almost bailing trying to look at myself in shop windows' reflections....
with less risk of running into the backside of a bus as a cool addition!

mmm had a look at those specialised ones actually, they look quite nice. Not really sure i want a lever in the mid section as i rarely use it, but clamping it under the end of the bar might be worth a shot. Have you tried clamping them on top of the bar tape, and if so, does it work? most worried about clamp diameter as the phat wrap is well... phat...

right, by side of bars i didn't mean all the way up, but on the actual bend of the tube, so i was looking for something like a bmx lever that would attach around the area somewhere and be operatable that position.
my cousin has the profile airwing ones and thats how i established that those aren't what i want, who else makes "flat" ones? or will i just have to wait till hubjub restocks? -
So i'm basically looking for a set of bullhorns, was thinking 42 or less in width, seems hubjub is out of the nitto ones, what other ones are worth recommending? i'm not particularly keen on the pursuit style ones, would prefer some that didn't curve down around the bend (if thats making any sense...). Prefer having my hands on the bend of the bars, was wondering if anyone has a brakesetup that makes this possible without having to shift your hands to the middle constantly to use the front brake.
Also, anyone have any experience with cloth bartape, particularly, how is it when wet?
geez even got red valvecaps... it does look nice, that stem/handlebar combo is weird tho...
