Vinz
silasmellor
Vinz
sol in a bush?
Yep. Cycling through my park on the way home I saw a wheel sticking out . I stopped, looked and wa-laa! I did leave a note under a stone saying that I found it and them to call me if they wanted to claim it. I've yet to hear anything.
why? do you reckon the owner is going to look under a stone for it when he/she finds out its gone?
It looked like someone had abandoned it (the fact it was on top of a bush rather than beside it) so the note was more for Karmic value tan anything else.
yeah i was only joking

tynan
the-smiling-buddha So we are going to go for a Paul and we is going to spray it out on the 'rue'
If it rubs off, I'll give Armoutec a call
You should sand it first or even chemically etch the surface (use an oven cleaner like Kleen Off™ with Soduim Hydroxide in / basically one that reads DO NOT USE ON ALLUMINIUM) to get a good solid covering that will last.
and make sure you've got plenty of ventilation, hydrogen is very flammable.

i've had that problem as well, and have also crashed because of it, i think for me it's been a combination of twisting slightly when pulling up, which i am trying not to, and the cleat being fastened at a slight (very slight) angle, which can mean that the amount of twist needed to clip out is reduced. have mostly been skidding, pulling on the other leg instead and haven't had that problem since.
oh and thanks for the bars by the way, spot on! -
mr_tom
Joe.S I notice a few stokie comments here but no shout out for the cafe in Clissold park. From the Finsbury Park outpost:
(both on blackstock rd)
The bagel bakery on Seven sisters Rd at FP wastes the Brick lane one. Onion bagel with salmon and cram cheese rules.
heh. I live on Blackstock Rd. Clearly the best place (apart from the bagel shop, which is the bollocks) is Yildiz, for a whole pile of barbecued meat and bready-goodness.
And my kitchen, which is currently serving a lovely crisp streaky bacon sandwich.
yeah they make nice bagels, fairly cheap also. mangal on stoke newington rd at crossway makes nice turkish food and if you're lucky and get there early you can steal gilbert & george's table
