ras Its still a pleasure to ride. I ended up using chain tugs, bullhorned the bars with a hacksaw, threw the back brake and stuck a new front one on, and ditched those reflectors, and put on some half decent pedals and clips I got used to the poo colour almost but every now and then I want to take a spray can to it, but i think i will save my money for my first build.

just tape it up! i did on my flyer, mind you anyone with half a brain can still tell that its a flyer but at least i don't feel as much like an advert riding around...

in comparison, the standard postie bag (which is pretty big) is 38x14x52 cm's which amounts to roughly 27 litres - what did you say the price was on the small one?

hmm am i right to say thats about 35 litres?? good - and what was the size of the huge one to compare with??

Hiya, just a few questions regarding the headset on the flyer - as far as i can tell it's a cane creek vp a51a... I had a car run into me last weekend and my headset's feeling a bit stiff since then, now i've had the bike checked and both forks and frame are straight but i'm gonna need to take the headset apart to see if there's anything wrong with it...

anyways, should it come to the point where i'm gonna need a replacement headset, what would you guys recommend in a similar class, ie not too pricey (and preferably black!)

i rode to paris with a postie bag and although it's relatively comfortable, i'm seconding the suggestions for you to get something more touring oriented... as for your arse, bring a pair of padded cycling shorts!

isn't it a bit silly to raise the bars on a pursuit bike? i mean, isn't the point of having the small front wheel that you lean more down and thus reduce drag?
