I’ve used these (maybe different length) to put up twin slot book shelves on insulated plasterboard. Get the setting tool.

I was training towards the Hackney Half, my first race / half marathon, until a few weeks ago when they sent the message below announcing a “sustainable low-cost airline” as their main sponsor. 🤯 I’ll run a half on my own. Why aren’t they getting more backlash against this? (sry not directly running related.)

Injury advice. Started running recently, doing the Nike Run Club half-marathon plan, running 3/week (intervals, recovery, long.) Ran a first 15k last Friday, maybe a bit fast but feeling good. Then last Monday after 10min comfortable running my left calf starts to hurt, gradually but fast. Tried running slower but had to stop and was hurting when walking back home. Didn’t run for 5 days, did gentle stretches and standing calf raises. Almost a week later, I still feel my calf when regular walking. Should I rest more or go back to running? Anything else to help with this?

Should I get a heart rate monitor or running watch or smart watch or nothing? I'm only just starting to run more regularly: I did my first 10k run this week and I'm hoping to run 3 times/week, currently doing the half marathon plan with the Nike Run Club app on my phone. Would knowing my heart rate be useful? If so, should I get a heart rate monitor or watch? Which one should I look at? (I'm generally not a consumer-tech fan.)

seat advice needed:
For longer rides my 6y old daughter is still on the bobike mini front seat, testing the 15kg weight limit. It’s amazing to have her in front coz we can talk. It’s also nice the seat removes completely bar a small bracket so I can have my bike back when she’s not on it.
What are seat options for +6y? Ideally in front and easily removable or minimal when not in use.
The oxford top tube seat doesn’t fit as the connecting bit to the footrests is too short. I was also looking at Urban Iki Junior seat which folds down but that’s in the back and I’d have to fit a rear rack for it.
Anything obvious I’m missing?
