Mac was running fine , one night without thinking I left it sitting on an external drive that was spinning away and so was the laptop. I woke up and the laptop wouldn't boot just gave the ?.
I coulnd't recover anything off the hd externally as it was clacking away. I brought a new laptop straight away as I needed it for a project I was working on and never bothered to fix this I used it well for 5 years and figured I'd got my monies worth. I don't know what exactly is wrong with it I just can't be bothered to move it again . Power supply is worth atleast £20 now anyway as they are hard to come by (legit versions)

Wheel probably needs 10 or so spokes, It's a good practise if you want to learn to lace a wheel.
I don't want to learn new things. The wheel is had some solid use still rides err rode fine it's £10.
The spokes are broken because I popped the chain going off a kerb, it got caught between the cog and spokes and sheered some of them.

Got these Red Wing Work Chukka 3141 Briar Oil Slick Boots In a UK9 for £122 if anyone wants them before I return them?
Managed to get half a foot in before I realised they were way to small for me.

After spending an undisclosed amount on some new parts I pulled the bike apart to install them.
Discovered a hidden connection was fucked, put new connectors on and now it seems like all the tests are coming up as they should. I feel stupid for wasting the money but awesome for discovering and fixing the problem and learning alot about my bike in the process.

How I spent my sunday,
Pulled everything apart to check connections and other problems to avoid having to Replace the Stator like the Multimeter test said I need to.
The conclusion is I need to replace the stator...

The place you are doing the test with usually have lots of spare jackets/pants to use.
I've found the leather/merino combo to be good but to be honest the textile stuff worked better.
I noticed my instructor changed out of his belstaf leather jacket to put on the textile when we rode out to the test center.

I must remeber when ordering shoes online that my feet are stupidly wide and I don't fit most quality leather shoes as standard.
I felt like the wicked stepsisterin Cinderella trying on the ones that turned up today.

I did this job for awhile, It was like doing an 8hour math test with some prick blowing smoke indirectly in your face the whole time.
It did pay well and allow me to snowboard all day. It's good when you live in a tourist place and there is a high turner over but when you have the same sad pricks at your table every night it gets depressing.
