Picked up my frame from Armourtex this week, I got a small paint seepage into the first couple of BB threads, but apart from that every other area is/was masked off fine.
To be honest I could not fault them.
As for Vaz, I left 2 messages with him at the end of November both saying exactly what I was after and when could I drop the frame off, and he didn't even bother getting back to me. I'd rather give my money to someone who actually wants it.

andyf @Sam,
Where did you get rims and hubs for £50?
Second hand cheap bastards from eBay.
Maillard hubs (yes shit I know), and MA4 rims that were laced to some old ShimaNo 600 hubs.

BringMeMyFix I've only ridden it twice, but I did ride the the vertical strip round the top briefly during the devil to avoid a time-trial specialist's sudden decision to move up while I was overtaking him :S
Doing a flying 200m, and going round the bend on the pursuiters line at about 40mph with your ear nearly scraping the ground is fun too!
Ridden it once, didn't have the bollocks to ride up the top.
One plank tried to do it s-l-o-w-l-y, cue much laughter from the rest when gravity finally caught up with him and he slid down the boards to the blue safety zone.

fuzzbrain Re rail replacement: it appears that you CAN get a train to Otford which is reasonably close to Knockholt.
Yep, missed that. Soz. First train gets you there at 8:30am, from there it's just over 3 miles, includes taking in the final climb of the day up Star Hill. Not much of a climb, but after 95km it's a different story!

Note to anyone think of catching a train down to Kent to ride the Hell of Ashdown on the 27th.
There's engineering works taking place, rail replacement bus services etc.
Engineering work between Chislehurst, Otford, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge from Sunday 27 January until 04:00 Monday 28 January 2008

So sorry to hear about your collarbone FBR.
I hope everyone didn't stick to their bedsheets too much last night :0(
