mashton i love the spotted thread, mainly because i love spotting you peeps, out and about. Amazing how often it happens - i seem to see somewhere from here about once a week or so.
It's another great benefit of cycling - other people probably 'just miss' each other all the time on buses / tubes etc. but never realise it.
I love posts that have "I love" in them. Happens so often on this site :o)
LFGSS - keeping it real

Man, that is truely horrible and outrageous. When I first read it I thought you should have done something there and then, but I believe that you definitely did the right thing getting away then speaking with police.
One thing I would say is don't give up. Ring the police every day, that way they will end up wanting to help you, more than anything to get rid of you.
Good luck mate.

[cite]Sheldon Brown[/cite]If your bottom bracket came with retainers holding fewer than 11 balls, I strongly recommend that you replace them with loose balls. This is not really difficult to do. if you know how.
Hmmm, this is his advice on loose ballbearings. So if you've got 11 (like I have) or more is he saying don't bother?

cornelius blackfoot @ sam/Jonny
does that tour de france dvd have the bit where stephen roche comes out of the fog after having been dropped on an ascent, but then recovers and phil ligget goes mental. If so I'd love to borrow that from either you or Jonny, so I can make it a clip and play it eternally...
If you mean Roche's comeback on La Plagne in 1987, it's available here.

Pretty sure it's on the DVD, haven't watched it for a couple of years.

The only other cycling DVD I've got is the Ray Pascoe film about Tommy Simpson titled "Something To Aim At". You're welcome to that any time.
Got loads of books, although Brett seems to have stockpiled them for his up-coming 24 hour flight to Oz. My favourite is French Revolutions followed by Roule Britannia: A History of Britons in the Tour de France. Also have both Tommy Simpson books, Mr Tom: The True Story of Tom Simpson and Put Me Back on My Bike: In Search of Tom Simpson. Both as good as each other TBH.

hippy Correct. Brompton being used to refer to whatever POS folder gets left near my bike now.. A folder, taking up rack space?!
Why don't you (not you Sam) take your fscking folder, fold it and stick it in your arse. People with real bikes need rack space! :)LOL! In fact PMSL!!
But, for the record, mine lives up here in the office. It's nice and warm and dry, and a handy clothes horse for those rainy days.

Hi Tommy
That doesn't work either, as we cannot access our Internet options!! It's fucking shit here! For now I'll just keep using one of the other website addresses until that's blocked, then move onto the next one. Since the original .com address was blocked it has been fine using the .co.uk one to be honest.
The anonymouse site is also blocked BTW. Gah!

YOU'VE GOT THE WRONG NIGHT!
