i know condor have a bad rep on here but theyve just built my 631 custom lugged frame - keith did the measurementsand we had a long chat about what i wanted - finally got it a couple of weeks ago and its fucking gorgeous and fits like a glove!! £800 for the frame - the rest of the build knocked that up a fair bit tho!

handy as emergency backups - condor tell me thetll be stocking the knogs soon which look cool too.....

Just changed my home & contents to m&s - got all the bikes covered, added emergency cover etc and still saved £50...result! thanks guys

I've found that my house insurance company (directline) wont cover my new bike.
Anyone got any reccomendations for good standalone policies? I've had a quick google and come up with a few, but personal experience is always handy...

One advantage of working in telly news - occasionally get to do stuff like that!

I spent a couple of weeks at the start of this year in Antarctica with the British Antarctic Survey scientists (the same guys that originally discovered the hole in the ozone layer years ago) and they're convinced that a hell of a lot of the warming thawe're seeing is due to man made factors. They also reckon that if we dont do something serious, we're heading for a tipping point that we couldnt recover from - thats where the huge sea level rises could come from - melting of the antarctic peninsular being a big one. If the evidence is good enough for them, its good enough for me!

I'm out - personal stuff, not the weather...honest!

i like the idea of keeping it inclusive - encourage friends to get back on those bikes that sit gathering dust....who knows, they might even see the fixed light!

good plan - I reckon it'll encourage a lot of nervous noobs to get involved, especially the city on a sunday morning.

second that - wouldnt use 'em in town.... out on a country ride though, i'd use my sony ex91s - they sound pretty good, stay in ok and dont completely cut off outside sound.

hear hear on the rotherhithe tunnel - its shit!!! prob not as bad at that time of night tho... i think the idea of doing both foot tunnels is very cool......100 stairs at each end of both tho!
