The downtube stops looked about right to me - ~100mm from the front of the headtube? Reckon they want to come up a bit?

Good thought about the seatclamp....I'll ask..

Seatstay clearance....looks like it'll take up to 50mm tyres...i'm not planning on using anything above 25-28 so should be ok?

Think I'll stick with external headset....

Now just to get the money to them...they reckon they can build it in 3 weeks!

Could anyone with experience of custom frames cast an eye over this and tell me if I've dropped any very obvious bollocks before I send them any money.

I based it on elements of Condors Gran Fondo, but with sizes that this site suggested, along with the experience of my custom fixed......

They're also giving me the option of integrated headset....I'm tempted to stick with standard 1 1/8 ..... anyone know of any great advantages of integrated that would be worth an extra $125???

May not be relevent, but I just got a Samsung NC10 netbook for 200 quid (second hand but hardly used) - ok, not the most powerful thing, but cool for general use and watching films etc....i use an ext dvd drive at £60 if i need one.... Makes a cool everyday small laptop...
