Hello all,
It's Lady Pioneers birthday coming up and she's been cooing all over the number of little shopper bicycles parked up around her house recently. Does anyone have one knocking about, or a friend who might?
Ideally something like this:
I've looked on ebay, but everything seems to be based in Edinburgh for pick up only or over in west london and charging through the nose.
I'd be willing to pay up to around £50ish depending on condition. Ideally it would be red, black or white (them being her favourite colours).
or does anyone know of any bike shops in London that might have one for sale? I've tried the usual Evans/CycleSurgery/Magic Bicycle but they only have ugly new ones for sale
thanks for any help

Presumably this won't be attained by even the most assiduous tweed-wearing?
Or don't they take it as seriously in practice?
They've seemed pretty relaxed when I've been before. So long as you look like a retro gentleman you'll be fine. Obviously anyone wearing anything that looks like it's styled from the last 40 years is turned away.
last time I went with a brown pinstripe 3 piece suit with tank driver goggles and a beret.
I'm sure a bunch of dapper chaps (and secret chapettes) like ourselves will be fine.

Hello,
I was there last night, I think I might have seen you TheCrane?
I turned up at random just before they got busted, then ended up wandering off with a bunch of random strangers thinking they were you lot. We went off to another underground carpark and it was ace. I bumped into someone I haven't skated with for 10 years!
I was a bit rusty at first, but then it all started coming back fakie 360 flips!
It was odd though, I spent half the night thinking they were all you lot, then it slowly dawned on me that I was the only one with a fixed gear bike. It turns out they have a regular monday night skate club organised by the skate shop opposite brick lane bikes. Still top fucking evening, I ended up making loads of new friends, and will be hooking up with them again for sure.
Shame I missed everyone here.

Wooooooooooo!!! I've just read this entire thread!!! Ha, I love u guys..... That Langster guy is such a twat on here! Is it really that guy that rides around with that pimped up Langster and the kid or is that a joke? Cause I've seen him with my own eyes...... if it truly is him......... My god! Does he really exist? He's like the epitome of every single negative element of this forum!
In fact, I feel a little bit shocked he's that offensive as a person!
I've met OOL in 'real life' and he's alright, as is his son, as are his friends. What a fucking palava this whole thing has turned into. Still, top lyricism from the boards, special props go out to Fresh who's worked some magic here and there!
See you all at the tweed ride, and see you OOL at trixie dix.
20 fucking pages, oh my.
